Sorry for all respondents,

Just got a little bit angry when I was following last minutes of the game today and noticed some strange tactics with "my" players and the coach.

There should be a way to act as a coach (somehow), when playing these last critical, hectical moments of the game. Today the teams offense playing was catastrophical and just opposite compared to pre-defined tactics.

Maybe in the future it's better that I only check out the results after the game?

Nah, just understand that players make stupid decisions from time to time, regardless of the situation.

there isn't a modifier that keeps the team up from shooting the ball late in the game at present. Perhaps there should be... now of course, that means you are gonna have to take whatever opportunity comes to you late in the shot clock.

on a basketball philosophy point of view, I think there are many situations in which a team stalls inappropriately, for instance up 4 with ~1:30 to go... I think it a terrible time to not try to score until the end of the shot clock.. because when you do that you get a significantly worse look at the basket and the opposing team will gladly give you 24 seconds for a possession at that point.

I think its a pretty tricky set of guidelines as to when its appropriate to hold for the last shot. End of quarters is certaintly one (and I should implement this) but other times its much more complicated.

I do not know much about Webber, but he obviously was a really talent player who had serious problems in his civil life? Tell me the details?

I actually know much more about Wilt Chamberlain and Larry Bird, because they where my NBA idols when I was a small kid.

Right!

Mistakes really seems to happen in real life too.

Thank's for the update, maybe next time I stay cool when something similar happens to my team with this Buzzer-game. Hopefully not too often :)

I dealt with The Ricky Davis Experience here in Boston.

Ricky Davis is a great player. When you can get him to play the way he should, that is. The problem is you never could. Very frustrating to watch.

I have the ball, 8 points ahead, 1:03 time remaining the game. No faults. Tactics is patience!

Then my SG tries a 3-pointer when still 17 secs on a clock?

Should I fire this guy immediately or is it a bug with this software engine?

There are actually NO players over 14 years in Finland at least, who shoot behind 3-point line at that situation (17 secs still).

Is this a bug?


I shouldn't start talking about this again, but... just now, in the NBA playoffs, with the Hornets leading the Mavericks by 12 with 1:15 left, Peja Stojakovic of the Hornets took a three-pointer with what looked like 16 seconds on the clock. (He made it.)
