Love the both changes!

1. Salary limit: Love it because it will force dumb managers to play smart, simple as that.

2. Luxury tax: Love it because it will make training more important, and make the game more challenging.

Disclaimer: I don't like to call people dumb, but if someone is affected by the salary limit, well, he is dumb :)

I think that these new changes are great. They make training your own players much more important, and also make tanking for a few seasons and then buying 5-10 200k+ players and winning your league, cup and BBB in next few seasons much more expensive(which is great for newbies like me). BUT(and there is always a but:D) this changes mean, that huge salary NT players are even more undesirable and expensive to keep, which mean that they will always be on TL, changing clubs pretty much every weak, and always in bad gameshape(very bad for NT selectors). Their price will go even lower and a lot of them will be fired by their owners because it will be cheaper for them to fire a player, then to pay another weak of salaries for him.

So, in overall, new changes are very good, they will make the game much more interesting, but game developers should somehow solve the problem of NT players, otherwise NT tournament will lose even that bit of importance, which it has right now.

This is only my opinion, it may be wrong, dont attack me right away if it is, I am still pretty new to this game:)

Sorry for my bad english, and happy holidays:)

if NTs pay a part of their player salaries , i think solve this problem ...

for example , if a player salary is 300 k , NT pays 40% of it ...

Thank you everyone for your feedback. I really appreciate both the critique and the praise. It does help with shaping the game into a better one.
Please understand if I don't have enough time to answer every question, suggestion and comment, but I'll try to read up here and in the other global forums more in the future (even if I don't reply). Best I keep spending most of my time working on new features and game rule changes, but the feedback from our users will play a more important role in the decision-making process.
I believe the overall feedback about the new changes is positive and am feeling good about that. The game is evolving in the right direction , but let's not get ahead of ourselves, let's give the new things a bit more time to settle in, find the "kinks" and work them out. I'm both proud and exhausted, happy and tired. I hope all the work was worth it, and your comments make it seem like it was. Again, thanks everyone!

I haven't heard about it so far, but has the proposed change to reduce the impact of the last game on fan survey been put into effect? Or is this something that'll be done in a future season?

Now you mention this, I was thinking that it would also be good for BB to be more comprehensive about Fan Polls and arena attendance. Let's put this situation: imagine you have your 15k-seats hard-worked arena, you have not developed good draftees, but you have a couple of good free agents long term plus a nice bench, all of which, discounting staff, gives you some 5000 to 10000 surplus every week IF YOU SELL ALL the seats of your arena. Now, if attendance fluctuates about 50k of income depending if you win your last game, or drops too much if you had a bad rival-game or TV-game [perhaps you were aiming for a crucial win in the National Cup], you might be seeing a -40k or a -50k in economic flow with a 75% arena. In this case, the overextension tax IS PENALIZING you not because you're a short-term manager or just a plain bad-not-patient-enough BB player, but because you had a bad schedule, a bad game, maybe even an injury to your star guy, etc, etc.

in this example, not too far from any decent BuzzerBeater manager, you could set a great measure to improve the game have an effect all the contrary. I don't know now how is the algorithm for filling arenas right now in the game engine, but if I was a BB, I would really keep an eye and a tight grip in this relationship between economy, arena's algorithm and overextension tax.

That change was made last season, so it's already a full season in place. Season 25 news;

The last change made is related to the Fan Survey calculation. We have tuned the calculations in the Fan Survey to better reflect the overall performance of your team instead of having as strong an emphasis on your last league game.
