Hey, thanks for all the answers and input all of you put here.
About me, yea I have some understanding about the game, otherwise it would be impossible to win a trophy in Lithuania with 1000+ users. Also, I used some calculators and spreadsheets to see what and when it is possible to reach.

And as it happend I got such a prospect in Utopia, I decided to do something new with him. Something what was never done before.

20 20
8 18
20 12
20 8
8 8

Such skills is easily reachable. And is not harmful at all salary wise (below 150k). And I might go beyond 20 in some of the skills rather than train more defense.

I understand that it is not the best player I can get. And he will be terrible in defense and will not get high rankings. But it is fun to have a player who can score. And I might have some of them in my team. Probably I will lose more than I will win, but I least it will be fun to watch :) You know.. After so many years in the game, I just have to find something new and out-of-box here to keep my interest in the game :)

So lets keep the track. He has 60 skill points already :)

Two seasons ago I bought a german 18 y/o Pot 6 player. He had no defense and a little bit of offense. Now, he has still no defense but a lot of offense. My idea was and still is, to have a bench player who can score 20 pts in 15 minutes.
During the last two seasons he had 30 skill ups. Almost all of them an the offensive end. (5 JS, 9 HA, 9 DR and 5 IS)
20 20
8 18
20 12
20 8
8 8

That's to much for a pot 6 player but this build is kind of the same I try to reach. Just with lower skills.

My other trainee won the MVP trophy last season. In the first league game he had 33 pts. He outperfomed all the old veterans. Both guys will be effective bench scorer in a couple of seasons.
And to make something clear: there was a german NT player with over 100 games (record holder of a couple of records) and his skillset is like a blue print for my trainees. So they can't be that bad

3P % depends heavily on the opposing players. My very own starting roster player Tobias Hofbauer was 21 Js 10 Jr and averaged 38.5% 3p. With 45,6% in his prime.

Micheal Jordan, IMO was more like~

21 23
20 19
25 16
14 10
10 10

Not saying that he was better 3 point shooter than jumpshooter...more saying that in the BB world to get the shooting % he had, a player would need ridiculous JR.
So what about a Reggie Miller, Ray Allen, Steph Curry? 30 JR?
