Everyone has a right to express their opinion. I am listening, just not agreeing. The substitution code is what it is for now, imperfect and yet still it somehow works for most teams. Remember, this game was never supposed to follow all of the players wishes, in that case, we can just add a textbox for each player in which you can just insert the wished number of minutes and be done with it. It's supposed to be challenging.

Also, since the game was not designed to have players play 48 minutes per game, expecting to get those minutes is unrealistic. It's a trade off, just like with everything - you risk not getting the full 48 minutes per game but gain the ability to train better players (faster - if it works). You could train 5 guys in two positions, and the risk of not getting full (weekly training) minutes is much smaller.

The criticism, or bugs, described here was never intended to be able to play 48mn, but you're still at this stage in your thoughts. What can i say...nothing, this is your problem..

By changing the game rule book in adding 'mostly' you acknowledge that there is a problem and choose not to fix it. This is a behavioral trait. So be it.

LOL. He has described the game for you. You choose not to accept his explanation and you continue to complain. That is your problem, not Marin's.

No, Marin said the functionality works 'mostly' as intended by the rule book. Which means sometimes it does not. The fact that the sometimes can be reproduced does not matter.

And he talked about concerns that were not involved in the bug. Which wasn't related to a black box but to the rules that apply to the black box. Which wasn't related to the 48mn goal but to the beahaviour of the other players with substitutes on the bench and finally he talked about an algorithm that wasn't described, to reach a goal that was not intended.

It's a little mantra blablabla black box, blablabla 48mn goal.

I agree to disagree on the bug handling, and as a paying supporter I do care about bug handling. And yes, in relation to what is in the title of this thread, I can agree on the fact that the implementation of the rule originally written is 'mostly' not bugged.

We can go on like this forever. Since you agree to disagree, you wont mind me closing this thread since the original topic was addressed and long departed from.
