In all seriousness...

I believe you're deserving of another term, but some might not agree since USA didn't win Worlds or maybe go as far as expected. How would you defend your decisions this past term, and what do you have for the naysayers that believe in "Gold or Bust" no matter the talent our team has?

I have 1757 players for sale and I'm $25,835,360 in debt. Buy them at outrageous prices, or be selfish and make me go bankrupt. You decide, BB.

Quite simply, everybody thinks the NT has all the best players to work with and act like GS doesn't matter. GS is one of the most important aspect to the NT along with the team enthusiasm. If the top players in your country aren't in great GS the team will fail. Additionally, the USA players aren't the "cream of the crop" in BB. Several countries have bigs equal to,or even better, than our top bigs and guards with inside skills that blow ours away. Everyone is stuck in the real world while this is a game. You can't compare apples to oranges.

As far as my decisions these last two seasons, I did what was best for the team based on all of the factors mentioned above. I played to our strengths based on GS each week. I'm not about to force a tactic when we don't have the personnel to perform. I have no regrets with my decision makings except for the Spain game, which I have been stuck on since it happened. This will just drive me to be better this next term.

Also, for all the naysayers and guys who like to scrutinize, please joint the USA Offsite and join in on the NT game discussions. I will listen to everyone's ideas so if you don't agree with what I do, then let me know so that we can discuss.

What would you say you would have done differently with the NT these past 2 seasons, and what are the biggest changes you would make in your term if elected?

I get frustrated with that Naysayer sentiment. Usually those are either 12 year olds, or guys who just don't understand. There are so many variables that go into actually winning the Gold.

My thoughts regarding Isaiah is this:

1. Is he passionate about the NT team?
2. Does he have time to run the NT team?
3. Did he do a solid job in the past?
4. Does he have an understanding of ratings and tactics?
5. Has his own team had any success in BB?

I think all of the answers are a resounding yes...so unless a guy like Jfarb throws his hat in the ring, why would we even consider anyone else to run the team? Making a change for the sake of change is rarely beneficial. With Isaiah, you know exactly what you have, and he's stated improvements he'd like to make...Unless you know another candidate is a guaranteed future star, I would rather stick with what we have until he doesn't want to be the coach anymore, or until he screws it up ;)

Someone point to a game other than the walkover that we lost and couldn't have won. Seriously, we didn't miss out because of the players. We were out managed. I have nothing against Isiah but I think we need to look over all of our options before we make him 'eternal leader' as you are suggesting.
Obviously the days of choosing between multiple qualified managers is a thing of the past. I point no further than our last election.

I definitely would have avoided all of those losses. What I bring to the table is tactical expertise. I constantly switch up the tactics which you will see in my past three seasons. And no this is not just changing for the sake of being unpredictable, there is a reason behind every choice. Look at my first finals game win in season 34, that manager had not used a 3-2 zone defense the whole season except for that game. He was 100% certain I would play outside. I won the series even though on paper his team is stronger. This is where I excel, in the tactical portion of this game. Yeah our National team may not have a collection of the best players, but that's where the managerial skill comes in. You can't just blame it on GS. My team's GS was not perfect in that series either, you have to learn to out coach the opponent. That's what has been lacking from the national team. The biggest change I would make in my term is our W/L record and a championship. It's all about tactics and lineup.

From the outside looking in, can you point to a specific game or two from just this past season that you would have played different tactically, and why? I'm just trying to understand how you would expect to play different tactics beyond what is optimal for the available players, even if that best tactic it LI against a double-guess.

Winnable doesn't explain what you would have done differently. I.e. Tactics, lineup, call ups, enthusiasm.
