An upset indeed, never saw that horse umm Dog coming. Don't be too upset George I changed my tactics and still got whipped. Cats vs Dogs I am going to stay a homer and go Cats in 3. Will Blackgate still get promoted ? I need to know if I might have any snowball's chance next season lol.

A cursory look at the other d3s make me think at the moment the Exiles are in the hunt for an at large promotion. But it will come down to how the others shake out. If I remember right promotion is based upon record first rank second, or does rank hold sway?

4th straight appearance in the finals for Cal. This time however they are a clear cut favorite in my book. But if they falter, and if Exiles also fail to get the callup I feel for whomever gets thrown into the blender the blues have become.

I've just got one question for kitties management (https://youtu.be/vzN3qO-qc8U)

While normally the links you post are amusing, I thought this one was both gross and completely off base.
If anything, it relates more to YOUR team, as I seem to recall regularly thumping your unsuspecting guys when we meet up. My kitties are hardly some drunk fool on a couch completely oblivious to the danger signs all around.

In the title match-up between Cats and Dogs, I know full well that the odds significantly favor the Dogs, especially with their home court advantage. The one small advantage that my kitties do have is that they probably have spent a lot less energy in the playoffs so far, compared to the tougher battles the Dogs have been thorough.

Dogs will win - hoping I can take it to 3 games.

+1 yeah your probably right. Especially since my first name is Paul. And the dogs do pummel my boys three times out of four, no CT required.

Though this probably better applies to my franchises fortunes https://youtu.be/uBiewQrpBBA

Based on our past two games I know my team couldn't outrun your team. I took a small risk and it paid off. Semifinals are the most dangerous game. If this was the finals you would have probably taken my team in three.

Announcer: and now it's down to the finals. Forget all the courtesies and kind words as now a title and promotion is at stake.

It's a real contrast in styles as Cal returns to the summit for the 4th season in a row following a surprise sprung upon the unsuspecting Exiles. After a season that started 0-3 with some in the media predicting their demise the Bulldogs rallied to go 18-3 since that time as the power combination of Lvcum and Nguyen presented a puzzle that neither playoff opponent could solve.

The kitties in the other hand in just three seasons in the slaughterhouse sit on the cusp of a surprise that is seasons ahead of their expected timeline. Now the question is can they come up with a plan to pull off the coup de grace.

It's a contrast of styles, the immovable object that is the power game of the dogs versus the irresistible force radiating from the finesse of fierce, and game one is coming to you NOW

I was checking up on a little of our history to see who might have been here the longest time.
New Bedford Nasties Season 30 and Greensboro Season 31 longgg time - Hate to see you go Nasties
But Deronimo -- Since Season 20 !!! that's what 10 years !!!
Longevity - I bet you have some stories to tell - sits down with popcorn and a brew.

I'll spend my next few days being sad about the outcome and then it'll be time to pick myself up for next season.

I suspect I'll have to move one of my posts, as my trainees are likely going to be a little too expensive to maintain this roster makeup. We'll see if the Exiles can take that next step before the Season 44 overhaul.

Yeah Deronimo has been here for a rather extended period. Not quite a decade but I think it is since the first Obama administration. He should have promoted the first season I was here but he guessed wrong on GDP and the other team had a guy go off for 63 and Deronimo was dropped in heartbreaking last minute fashion. Since then he's always been a bridesmaid but never a bride. Then again if not for a epic fail on my part guessing GDP when we met in the semis I could have advanced. Can't exactly run much smack on him as he beats me like I stole something (23-6 lifetime) though I have played him pretty even for the last four seasons.

Sorry to see the nasties get the boot, but they have been teetering for a number of seasons now. I could be next, season 42 will be touch and go. Deronimo also is flirting with disaster as much like the generals they are aging rapidly. Ditto for sparty. Ladson took a step back this year, but that roster Stoll has upside and youth so they will be tough. If Exiles is still here they are liable to be pissed and will be hard to deny. Same for Cal though in many ways it's becoming now or never for them. Bunnies have a hard road to travel but seem headed in the right direction. The blues will have at least five returning participants perhaps as many as seven so things could turn contemptuous.

Club red on the other hand will get more new blood transfused in than Keith Richards following a good weekend. Fierce cannot be slept on though I think they are still in the category of the original cast of SNL aka the not ready for primetime players. Then again are ANY of us here ready for the wail of the banshee that the move to that rareified represents. No matter who takes the final they will be hard pressed to be able to compete on the next level just because of the massive upgrade in talent required.

Game one of the finals is in the books and the Dogs win at home.

For my kitties, trying to make up a 15 point difference may be too much, especially with my starting center out.

Injury! 2 weeks.
Details: stomach virus.

Of all the times to eat some bad prawns! oh well.

Will need to update my prediction - Dogs may be able to close it out in 2, rather than 3.

I thought the Kitties had a good chance of winning Game 1 and even stop watching before the 4th quarter. The game could of gone the Kitties way if the GDP were not off or even used at home. I would be very surprise if the Kitties lose at home in Game 2.
