I was quietly hoping I would demote back into III.5. You all were a fun bunch.

did anyone get anything worth keeping in the draft by the way

My Kitties actually had their best draft ever, with two nice pick-ups. Went to sell one of them, for some much needed cash, given the salary jump my other players got. Was expecting a nice chunk of change from the sale (after the expected bidding war), but got no takers - enough though he was priced to sell initially.

Sigh.

I got one guy in Lombardo who might habe a future, though he is way too close to Strong in terms of his build. But he has 63 tsp so there is potential there.

Little bit of a catch 22 for management this season. Taylor and Strong both still have upside but neither is quite there. Skinner, McClain,Webb, and Armstread are what they are. While what Clement and Arbureta are is old. Last night was a harbinger of times to come. But we did fight valiantly though i was a little miffed that Strong of all players tried to be the hero.

Another great Generals-Bulldogs matchup. If Strong had hit that final shot it would have been a great comeback.

Tonights opening montage consists of well synchronized examples of offensive excellance timed out to the tune for the evening.

Cue: https://youtu.be/Tdc-UU2hVrs

Announcer: even at this embryonic phase of the new campaign trends start to take hold. For some tonight could go a long way towards determining if they hang on, and for others even at this early juncture championship plans start to take shape.

Over in the big 8

Deronimo host stormz as both seek that all important psychological advantage of getting off to a 2-0 start

While the bunnies have the spiders in town for a contest important to the overall trajectory of both teams.

Its a potential playoff preview as cal and pistons duke it out.

And the generals seek to right the ship against a lakenation outfit who may well be treating this season as a cash grab if current perceptions are accurate.

Over in club red

Spike and daggers both will look to lock into the winners circle

While the mavs and grizzlies are also both in a battle with potential long term ramifications

The always tough at home kitties seek to derail a masters club seeking to continue their climb.

And 2 will also be looking for hca to carry the cause against the battle tested blizzards.

We will take a look at the transfer ticker. Plus the youth report will update the progress of the leagues highest potential prospects. Plus Sybill gets her say so dont go away as its time again for BB2Night.

D2 was a learning experience for sure. I wasn't set up to win though; I was training out of position all season and didn't have plans of sticking around more than two seasons. Hopefully next time I will have my trainees in a better position so that I can make a legitimate playoff run.
