I don't really understand why you would find managing GS an issue. Two games is enough to get reasonable minutes to your best players, and if your 10th man drops to 6 GS for one week I don't think it's going to derail your season. If anything, as an active manager it's likely to benefit you as you'll have a better understanding of GS management than your opponents.

In big leagues it's difficult to make the last 16 of the cup and often requires sacrifices in the league, getting an extra game is another small reward for getting that far.

But the recommended roster size is 13, not 10.

You get horrible GS to 3 guys, and just maintain GS to the 10 rest...

I don't think anyone recommends a roster of 13 good players, the last few are usually scrubs.

For your own team, at minimum you are fine with 8 players in good GS. For example:

League 1:

Main PG / TraineeA
Main SG / TraineeB
TraineeC
TraineeD
Main C / Backup C

League 2:

Main PG / TraineeC
Main SG / TraineeD
TraineeA
TraineeB
Main C / Backup C

If you can maintain good GS for those 8 players, you should be fine for the week after ASW.
If you have other players on your roster you like to use but who fall in GS this week, you could play them 48m in the scrimmage next week, and they should start trending in the right direction.

Does the allstar week even have a point ? Yes it's a nice feature but if it's making my player's GS go down, i don't see why i should be a fan of it. Wouldn't it be better to be able to organize two friendly games in the allstar week?

No, it is absolutely stupid. A training hit and a GS hit. WOW!! Thanks BB
It is probably a reason for someone on the fence about quitting to quit the game. They play of Saturday and the next game isn't until Wednesday.
ALSO!! The more logins, the more money from ads. That same guy ins't logging in for 3 days. It really seems like adding a scrimmage on the Tuesday for those who are out of the cup is a pretty important thing.

In my eyes, no.
We are focusing on more important things though right now.

What could be more important than the game making money and being more fun for the users?

Right now, you have most of the BB world not logging in due to the lack of games this week.
Are you trying to tell me that people really wanted numbers next to the skills? Was that important? A games main objective is to keep the user logged in as much as possible. BB dropped the ball with the whole ASB thing.

Considering you play since season 7, one would think you have learned how to deal with AllStar Week by now.

Dealing with something and liking it are two different things. It is part of the game so like it or not, I deal with it. BUT it needs to be changed in my opinion. Just like I didn`t like playing in a micro nation for 30 plus seasons, people voiced their opinions and change happened. Now I play in the ASL and I love it.
They need users to be active on the site, one way to do that during the ASB is to have a Tuesday scrimmage.

Its a cool feature and only a quite impatient and spoiled user would quit over missing one game on a Tuesday. If that was true, there would be mass exodus come play-offs...

Plus the number next to skills were a nice touch and probably very easy to implement.

That same problem happened on HT years ago (at the end of the season) and they improved it, giving the opportunity to play 1 scrimmage game on each of the 2 final weeks.

I really also think that this should be improved in BB.
