Good answers so far. I feel like this race is going to be a close one. I'll have more questions once all the candidates have declared.

I think it is interesting that 9 people signed up in our election but so far there are only 5 speeches...

Anyhow, I want to know how each of you will get the community involved during the U-21 tournament. Will you post your thoughts after each match like uflorin? Or will you take a more silent approach?

Any other thoughts on how to get the community involved?

I think I would definately post my thoughts after matches. I think this would enable the Canadian coaches to see what I am thinking and be able to add their advice and input to help guide the team as well. This could be taken into consideration with future decisions towards tactics, player selection, etc.

The more input towards the team, the better the results will be I think.

How will we determine which team 21 year olds currently on the national team play for?

not sure about that, there are only 5 of them at this point, if they can only play on 1 team, then i think the upcoming games with the full national team would take priority. but that could be worked out between the 2 team managers after elections if decisions need to be made.

personally, i would hope that our player pool is deep enough that those 5 can stay with the full national team and we can bring in new players with the U21 to expand the national player pool and still achieve success at both levels.

Supposedly it is first come first served. So if they are already on the NT, it will be up to the NT coach.

What's the point of having 3 21 year old centres on the bench when they could be contributing for the U21s.

not much point, just that dropping them will affect enthusiasm.

And it's only 2 players over the 12 roster

I as well would definatly wanna have other peoples feedback. I would give my line of thought as well.

2 heads are better then one right ? As far as I'm concerned anyone giving feedback would be an Assistant coach.. with myself having the final decision.

Hopefully it would work out great for all of us.
