Are you sure it is based (only) on salary not a sklillset?

And all players on national teams at the time go to TL in those cases.

Salary is based on skill set.

But in this particular case, the determination for auto-listing is a specific salary cut-off.

A specific salary cut-off that is different for each country, is it not?

I mean, the new countries recently added won't have the same high-salary players as a more established country due to the lack of training.

So, for example, in the USA, the salary cutoff is 10k, while in a smaller, younger country, it might be 7k, right?

I used to think so too, but it appears it isn't. The idea behind the policy is to preserve the top players in the game as a whole (i.e. help all teams, in a sense), rather than target specific nations.

So a team could theoretically have a 50 year old player on the roster?

Yes.

Salary is based on skill set.

I guess others got my point as they know I'm aware of that. Big men tend to have significantly bigger salaries.

I have 2 question..

First: Doesn't the retired player(include fired and left by bot) which is not good enough to go into transfer list used for a newly formed team? It kinda makes sense because it would be weird if a character name is there but have no usage of him.

Second: If a team became bot and his player is good then it will go into transfer list by free agent, that is what I know, so will a good player goes into transfer list if he is fired?

As far as I am aware, new teams get new players. The retired players aren't used again unless they become free agents.
As for the second question, if a manager fires a player then that player will not become a free agent, even if he is good. The only exception to this rule, is that players that are on a national team that get fired WILL become free agents.

Basically, national team players that are fired become free agents, all other players that are fired will become retired and not become free agents.

Wow, the game will have to generate many different name then.

I think its a good idea if the retired player is used for newly formed team.
