Exactly, so if a player is further from the basket his shooting is more ineffective. Therefor if a player has a higher JR, his jump brings him closer to the net.
How is that not at all? It says that a players shot is worse if their further from the net. And jump range brings you closer to the net. That's common sense lol.

Jump Range is the best thing we have to determine this. It's obvious just by looking at the name jump range. It's the range of the jump. Do you see what I mean?
