I did that like two years ago. No point in doing it again.

Agree... what's the point of a default if it changes all of the time??

With my PON vs your POCT last night, I've now got you right where I want you. :P

Those were some amazing ratings you had last night, and I think they were easily the best ratings of any of the DII teams that will be promoting. Proficient (high) Offensive Flow? Come on, that's not fair!

Yeah, this has been a very successful 3-year-plan for me. I think I need a little rearrangement at the SG/SF spots, or to finish the training on Lincoln and Case, and then an upgrade/salary refactoring at C and backup big, and I'll be pretty happy with my team.

Good luck in game two, I don't know if I'm pulling for you ($250k home game income) or me (peace of mind) Seems like it should be close though.

I thought about buying Boles before game one, haha.

Well, I need the money, so I hope I can pull out a win, but I'll need some luck to keep it close.

BTW, I wish you would have bought Boles. I've been trying to sell that guy all season.

Despite what his TPE says, the numerous fire-sales in my 'News' suggest he's worth about $550k on the current market.

Yeah, his TPE has been low all season, so I've had hopes that I could sell him since it has jumped up in the last couple of weeks (I'd rather keep him than sell him for cheap). He's been a pretty good player for me, but I think his SB-inflated salary, plus his poor passing, scare potential buyers away.

I went fishing, and caught a big one.

I just noticed that Klingeman got a bid. I really didn’t expect him to sell for that price. My strategy for Saturday (and for next season) just went out the window. I guess I’ll be scrambling to find some defense and a couple of trainees for next season. After bouncing between the black and red all season, it’s weird having a little money to spend.

Oh wow, congrats!! $2.5M is quite a haul these days. Klingeman is a really good player though, and still young enough to train. I meant to say in my last post that I would keep him and train his passing more, but $2.5M is quite fair. Now you have some hard decisions to make... for next season.

I might actually try to get some bigs with shotblocking for my NBBA stint, Wozz seems to like it and the salary issue really becomes less big of a deal. I can't accept atrocious passing though, so no Boles for me.

Thanks! I hate to lose that type of defense. My plan was to train OD/ID to 20/12 then alternate One on One for Forwards and Passing. Oh well, $2.5 mil is ok by me, so on to the next plan, I just wish I knew what the next plan is. hmm, Joe Bronson is for sale….. :P

Other than the occasional blocked shot, I’ve never seen much effect from shot blocking, so I’m not sold on it, plus it’s just so expensive. If Boles had a 6 SB instead of 10, his salary would be < $100K per week. Is 4 points of SB worth $20K per week? My answer is a resounding no. Maybe it’s having more effect than I realize, or maybe he needs a 13 or 14 SB to be an effective shot blocker, but my guess is that a player with 16 IS doesn’t have much problem with an SB of 10. Of course that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t buy him. He would be a great player for you, and who needs passing anyway?
