How many players does BB have in your opinion. How many players of that playerbase are demanding 300-400k salary? Highest-skilled players are guys with most skills, hardly any of those 300-400k salary players are well rounded.

That's because of the salary formula,not because there is not one good trainer in the BB world

I think that only few hundreds of that playerbase have a salary above 300k
And that there are enough teams that could potentially afford them,because if we sum all the teams of the I division all over the BB world,we reach over 1k team with high incomes
A good part of these players are the best in their role,and their managers have care to not train them in skills with low perfomrance/cost ratio(like shot blocking for big mans)

So the question is:why many I division teams all over the world chose to not have them in their team?

Because they would lose competitivity,we agreed on this point
The fact that I find quite strange is that a team can't afford ONE of these players,while having the rest of the line-up made by competitive players

Training 6-7 skills makes a huge difference. They are not pushing for insane heights and are training players for actual use.
If you overtrain, obviously you lose value.

No it means, also train secondarys, or when the salary is starting to get out of hand, switch training spot/trainee or train stamina/FT/GS.

As I already said, divI teams can afford them. Smart managers just are not willing to trade off strenght in every other spot to use them. Can you blame them?
You obviously can't stop NT player trainers, but one thing they should understand is: they should not be training those players thinking about later profit to their team, it's a one way street and all downhill at a certain point. Also any manager who wants to compete in a salary cap manager game, should stop fantasizing about those pushed to maximum NT "freaks".

Yes,but a top level center however requires a certain level in the primary skills that bring a level of salary that can't be under a certain point

It's exactly the point,and you just confirm that the system don't work for these players
I would understand if div I team would want 2 or 3 of these players chosing to sacrifice talent in other spots or in the bench,but that a top team are forced to not afford one of them,leaving them in the farms,it's against the logic that the strongest players should play in the strongest teams

The point of this thread is not Lebron,that was just used as example.La-Kukoc explains his phrase with argumtns,I don't agree with him,but he use some reasoning

We need to seperate two things here, which are the best players (1) and the highest wages (2).

The best players will not earn the most. You need to see the salary as a scale where players are being put in. A 500k player now, will probably not be a 500k player a few seasons from now (he will most certainly earn less, unless suddenly global income dramatically increases). As we expect some people will keep creating monoskilled monsters, the bunch of top end salary players (who again, are not the best players) will be monoskilled. This means that the best players, the better trained multiskilled ones, will earn less.

So in the end we'll see the best players being sold for the highest prices. These players will never earn 500k/wk since the monoskilled monsters will always fill the top end of the salary scale. This means the best players are affordable for top teams within their salary budget, thus their market price will go up. It's logical that the monoskilled top end salary monster will be sold for less since he's a worse player (and got a higher salary).

Patrick,in certain roles to have the best players you had to have the highest salaries.
While I can agree about guards,for example,when we look at center poistion,I still don't see what skills a pure center should have over ID,IS,and Reb(i know that a center with the guards skills will perform better with the same salary,but is almost impossible sometimes to train that skills,without stopping the growth of the player in the primary skill because of the salary.
In BB the monoskilled players will never win something,but the triskills players yet,and they could be sustainable

if you don't see what skills a pure center should have, it doesn't mean that you know which players are the best players.
