I consider that with this kind of discovery (cheating of BB Anthony), I have earned promotion into GM, so that I could find more patients like this (especially in Serbia) :D

If not because of that, at least because opening of this thread..every manager who means something in BB world had something to say here :D

You have made a number of wrong assumptions. No man alive can know everything about BuzzerBeater. The code base is too large. Hypothetically, even if such a person existed, he couldn't predict much of the things that happen in BB. An incredible amount of calculation is run every week on each player, team, league, etc... So, even if you knew all of BB code base, you couldn't use it to predict what will happen not just because you can't calculate all that, but because a lot of things have a random factor.
When you talk about my advantage with "knowing" the game, it's obvious you don't know what happens behind the "curtains". You just happen to think I have access to all the answers and that I use them to gain advantage over other players. This just shows how much prejudice you have about us. You think we are some omnipotent BB beings that can just do whatever we want and are using every possible piece of information to cheat and get ahead of other users. I am offended with that implication, since you imply that if I have the power to cheat, I must then be a cheater. Did you not read what I said about integrity? Did you ever see me cheating? And you know that the scrutiny on the BBs is enormous.
Also, you assume that my "knowledge" of the game affects my decisions as a player. Of course it does, so does everyone's. Do you not use your understanding of it when you set your lineup? Do you not use your past experiences when buying players? The thing you assumed wrong here is that I have a better position about the collection of that knowledge and experience. I'm a player just like anyone else, can't you accept that? I have not tried to find any statistics to find out how much age affects training, staff levels, whatever else you mentioned. It's not a part of the game so I don't do it. I'm sure there are a lot of people that do have better understanding of those things than I do. That would be cheating and I know it.
The assumption that I need to know everything to work here is ludicrous. It's impossible and unrealistic and shows how deluded your prejudices are, and you're asking me to quit my job based on it? Not going to happen.
I'm trying to remain calm and not lose my nerve but you're making it really hard, not because you're trying to improve the game nor because you're maybe making arguments for arguments sake but because nothing I say or do will ever satisfy you. You always have to have the last word and it will never stop. So please, drop the issue because I'm not going to quit or give up my team just because you call for it. Just think how you would feel if I did the same to you.

Several people have straightened you out on GMs in ways that I think completely disrupt your argument about them, but just to clarify an important one I haven't seen mentioned: you can't investigate teams in your own division (I imagine there must be tiny exceptions to this rule for countries with only one active league and a very distinctive language that no other country speaks). This further limits one's ability to abuse of the GM position.

Also somebody mentioned this, but the appeal system *does* work quite well. When I was a GM and I told people to appeal to my decisions when they disagreed, I'd sometimes get responses like: "ah, that will take months".

That is *not* the case. Appeals are processed rather quickly and by people with a higher standing than ordinary GMs. I have even appealed the unjust cancellation of one of my forum posts
!

Disagree, the appeal system is totally useless, most of the times they don't answer.

I think there is a big difference of knowing the correct skill weights per position and guessing those skill weights per position. If you have seen those, then you are better off, even if you got to know them while working on something. Obviously getting to know that tie gives you 33% and ct takes 50% off, will not give you an advantage.
So do you know the skill weights per positions? Do you know what skills and by how much get boosted, using different tactics?

From the game manual:
In the unfortunate situation that your account is banned, you may appeal the decision by sending an e-mail to appeals@buzzerbeater.com. All of these appeals are read, and each situation will be carefully reviewed again by the BB Staff. If your account is unlocked (this is VERY rare), you will receive an email letting you know; if you do not hear from us, it is because your appeal was denied.

You can use the same useless assumption to say that the cheating ticket system doesn't work. You won't get any response to your cheating ticket although every single one of them is being taken care of.

We have both said a lot of things that you are going to regret.

Personally if I was given a choice between quit my job or quit BB...well giving up my team seems an obvious decision. So I think its within reason, assuming all teh BBs are paid, that they agree not to play the game with us and focus 100% on developing it for us in exchange for a paycheck.

It's ok to work for money but the best things are produced by enthusiasts and people that love what they do, not by those who are paid the most. And I can bet almost all of BBs are enthusiasts too. I don't think they would be motivated enough with cash when they're not allowed to play the game they create.

How can you compete on the same level as me knowing sooo much more about how everything works. YOu know things I am not suppose to know. How is taht fair? I don't know how much age affects training.

A lot. The youger the player the better he progressess.

I don't know how much trainer level affects training .

Not so much.

I don't know if spending more to get at 18 or 19, or level 6 versus7...I don7t know. Sooo many things you know that I don't. How on earth is that fair?

Don't play dumb. We all know you know this stuff eventhough you're not GM or BB.

How does a developer ignoring aspects of what is behind the curtain HELP US? I need you to know exactly waht trainer level does, exactly what age does, exactly what a win or a loss does to attendance. Exactly teh difference between 18bucks for a bleacher and 19bucks, and how that affects attendance. I need you to actually know these things in details, so that when we suspect something wrong you can look and see, clearly what the problem was.

Belive me, even if you knew all the numbers and formulas, there are just too many variables to know exactly what's perfect. Don't forget the random factor :)

Now if you know all this, then yo uwil lset the perfect arena price for your team, in your league etc.

You know it too.

You know how much merchandise you are suppose to get,

You are supposed to get the amount you see on economy update.

yo uget NT plaeyrs taht matter,

Experience managers know which one matter. And they didn't see the formulas or coefficients. They used brain.

perfect roster number,

Seriously?

If you DONT know all these things, then you don't knwo the game well enough to develop it IMO, and you should be trying to learn all this stuff. If you DO know all this stuff then you can't play on a fair field with me.

I know all the stuff you mentioned and you do too.

maybe you are right it is good you were/are a player too...but maybe you should quit the game once you became a developer and/or you should run a team in a test environment. like a 16 team league, 16 BBs and GMs have teams there and compete with eachother for fun, but everyone knows everything, so less aobut strategy, which yo ucan calculate perfectly and more just luck of the random stuff, like draft and lucky bounce.

This is completely moving away from the topic. There's a suggestions forum for your proposals.
