One way that the game could definitely improve on, IMHO, is buying/selling a player without the transfer list.

Now, the vast majority of you think that it will be a subject of cheating. But if limited to 1 players per season it shouldn't be a problem. Say, in the season 25 I can buy and sell only 1 player without the transfer list. This way every single such transfer could be closely monitored and examined to prevent money transfers between teams.

How would limiting it to 1 trade per team stop cheating? ThatĀ“s 40k possible trades a season to check without the chance of ANYBODY else but GMs noticing suspicious behaviour.

So this is not about trading, eh?

It would not stop cheating. You can't fully prevent cheating.

Anytime more than 5k players are listed on the transfer list and each one of them has an estimated market price. The same system could be applied to direct purchases. Additionally, since the direct purchase/sale naturally draws suspicion, every manager in the league would pay an extra attention to a rival team directly purchasing/selling the player. It could work.

It can be that managers would not be willing to directly sell their player, because of the perception that the auction would raise more money, that's why I thought that in order to incentivize managers to directly sell the player, they could be given 100% or more of the sum of the sale.

I think that the direct purchase of the players would make the game more dynamic and real.

I didn't get the point
- why would anyone sell player without transfer list? It's very clear that seller can get much less money that way, there can always be someone with big bunch of money waiting just a player what you are going to sell. Saving that couple % transfer fee is minimal compared to possible raise in sales price. Estimated market prices are ridiculous - those cannot be used at all. I just bought player with 200k and market price is up to 1.7M.
- skill distribution is only possible way to estimate transfer price, based on other visible values no one can report any suspicious trades.....

Also scouting of transfer list is one element in this game - your competitors cannot buy a player so that you wouldn't have a chance to check those skills - one tactical element in this game.

Am I the only one with a vision for this game?

If I may be so blunt: I would really want some sort of better visualization of the live game. For each already defined ticker sequence there should be a small clip that can be shown with two or more endings, score and no score /block etc...the "live"-engine is the major asset of the game.

the quality must not be great, but it would bring people to actually watching the game and draw more people into it. Buzzerbeater might still be the best basketball mangaer, but only because its competitors are weak as well. we can see that more and more people wandering off to other games. If there is no major step coming up, we'll be sitting pretty much alone in here.

I also think a better viewer would be the best improvement. But I dont think a couple of small clips would do it.

Maybe watching a schematic representation of the movement of your players and the ball on the court would do the trick.

I definitely agree with this.

Ever since I joined BB, I've always wondered if an implementation could be made so that we could see the movement of the ball and/or the players. The only problem I see with it is that some people may be confused in certain situations (a player running down the clock, passing deep into the post, making cuts to the basket, etc.), but this would improve the viewing experience.
