This thread reminds me of NBA's 90s "I love this game" commercials :). Thus I say proudly "I love this game!"

I too think this game is awesome. I like its' complexity. Not only because it gives you a challenge, but also because complex games attract a steady fan base which knows more than just 2 +2 = 4. The fancy games which are easy to master attract more population that spends little time on it and then quickly moves to next product. BB however sports a small, but loyal community. Small compared to some other games of course.

The other aspect I like a lot is a bit of "mistery" that surronds many areas of the game, like Game engine, Training (Elastic effect, Cross training), sublevel of potential etc. It would probably become too boring if we knew exactly what happens at all times with our players or in-game situations. In some way this mistery helps the most to develop a reality feeling when managing and coaching your team. Sometimes you don't know or explain exactly what happened in a in-game situation; you can just guess. Isn't this the same as in real life? Who knows exactly why Washington Wizards can't win a game? Why does sometime happen that a team plays better when its' superstar is out (New York-Stoudamire, Philadelphia-Igoudala etc.)? Are Ilyiasova's numbers that much down from previous season because of new contract?

These are questions that are hard to answer; everyone has an opinion, but you never know who is right. Maybe each opinion hides a small part of truth. And the same problems/opinions/guesses about our teams and matches I see all over the forums, so well done BBs, goal achieved.
