Congrats on the win!

Thank you! This game is brutal and the window of winning is so small.. My last gold cup win was 3.5 years ago. But at the same time because of that, it's so darn satisfying to win a trophy ... any kind of trophy.

Also, a shout out to the Anteaters for a good competitive game. I surely needed all of that GDP.

Tar Team vs. Beware of Dogs: my Cup final, delayed. Tar Team is at home, but i think the team that has the greatest disparity between record and quality are the Dogs. great manager, too. i'll go with the Tar Babies, HCA rules, but in a close one.

Chargers and the Anteaters: another pair of good teams. The Anteaters punted against me, so i have no experience with their A squad. i'll play it safe and go with HCA.

for the Red Conference, BNH should roll, but the Iquanas and Stinky Melons have given me fits, and i respect that. i guess i would put the Bananahorns in the finals with 2-1 odds.

The finals should be superb.

As to relegation, my general sympathies. i was in one relegation match, and that scarred me -- those games make a huge difference, truly nerve-wracking. it might be saying something about me, but going for a trophy is an easy game compared to the loser-leave-the-league. Good luck to one and all!

I have plenty of experience with the Anteaters and I feel pretty confident that they will take me down tomorrow. He has beat at home, on the road, and on a neutral site this season. Great team that I haven't quite been able to figure out. I hope that 4th time is the charm but I am not holding my breath.

With my team's future already decided, I'd like to say thank you to all the other managers for the thorough butt whippings we received this season. After 27 seasons of BuzzerBeater, I will be relegated for the first time. That's crazy to think about! Good luck to everyone still playing this season. It has been a blast and I hope to return soon!

Here's hoping we don't end up in the same league because if I'm going to go down to II, I should at least get the benefit of avoiding The Hall of Justice for a few seasons!
