Well, one things that people overlook is that both team ratings and player ratings are not affected by secondaries. Thats why the result might seem surprising. It was extremely close though, but ultimately you just didnt have the offense to get through him. I believe that if you play motion or LI, you are through. but BBB is seriously tight. Just look at the results previous champion had. He could have dropped out in a first round and he ended up winning the whole damn thing.

i am really confused as to what was the factor that led to this upset.definitely the upset of the knockouts for me.

overconfidence, Remember when I lost finals against DP, same was the factor.

Somewhat bewildered that his guards got off 23 assists given the legendary OD of my guards

Based on my experience, high OD will not impact so much to passing, it will more prevent just shooting. I have tried it with much higher that just 20 OD!

Also just one GDP guess right would probably change the winner....

Since when are the PF and C Guards?
Hey played m2m and the bigs of Celtic had 8 assists. 8 out 23 is 34.8%. That's huge. The problem here are the bigs without OD, not the guards with OD.

namely secondaries......

And I just achieved biggest success in my team's history. Ended up beating trenchtown thanks to my SFs. Now facing Bisamberg.....

Over confidence might have been a partial (EDIT - MAJOR) factor for me.

Anyways given the roster I was running, economically it was better for me to get knocked out in the first round of the knockouts than to make it to the final and lose.

My SFs were also down on gameshape and I guess the first minute injury to Pichon didnt help.

I guess final 32 of B3 is a different level of competition to what Im used to.

I actually gave myself a good chance of going all the way, but will find positives out of the loss

Ott is in my teams Hall of Fame, I didnt realise that you had a part in his training.

Wish I could turn back time and have him back in my team (:|
