HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

You're funny.

Um, you do know that MJ put up 63 in the playoffs against the Celtics in his 2nd season in the league?

I believe that, for the purposes of this discussion, anything that happened before 2003 is considered null and void. If you remember that key constraint, it makes a whole lot more sense.

No joke. I took my kids to the park yesterday so I can help my 8-year-old son learn some basketball skills and then tonight I thought I'd show him some highlights of real players so he could see how it's done by the best. My little girl came to join us and when Michael Jordan dunks started playing, she said in her cutest 4-year-old voice, "Can he fly, cuz it looks like he can fly, can he fly?"

I wonder if anybody asked that about LeBron.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

The average NBA player get get over the rim. But you can't compare that with MJ's flying. Watch some MJ dunk highlights, I"m sure they're really easy to find. Not just dunk contest highlights, as impressive as they are. I'm talking about what he had the ability to even do in a game. The Tomahawk Dunk wasn't just a dunk contest gimmick, he actually made those when they counted.
I remember watching MJ's 63 point playoff game against the Celtics in '86, the one that the Bulls lost in 2OT. You need to watch a replay of that game. He was mostly guarded by Danny Ainge, though Bill Walton would often come out on him. Ainge was the Celtics best defender, and that was a great team. MJ may not have had an easy shot that entire game, and he was getting hammered every now and then, and it got so everyone just knew he was the only guy the Celtics really had to cover and they still struggled to try to contain him. And this all happened before MJ developed into a really savvy veteran.

There is no comparison between Lebron and MJ. Besides we cant even compare Kobe to Micheal Jordon

PROOF!
Kobe Bryant
2 time scoring leader
5 rings
1 MVP
81 points in one game(second most points scored in a game behind Wilt Chamberline)
13 all-star appearances
1 time slam dunk winner

Micheal Jordan
11 time scoring leader
6 rings
5 MVP
1 time defensive player of the year
11 all-star appearances
2 time slam dunk winner
63 points in a playoff game(most points scored in a playoff game)

As far as legacy and statistics I don't see anybody to compare MJ against. Instead Lebron whose only 26 years old.Kobe is a better comparison towards MJ.

Even though Lebron is one the best players in NBA I think we should compare today's stars with each other instead comparing them to the" impossible" which is Micheal Jordan.

Sincerely, I won't say nothing about this question.

It's much obvious that MJ is 1000x better than LeBron.

Inane conversation. Anyone that thinks LeBron is better... or even is GOING TO BE better than MJ shouldn't be allowed to discuss any basketball topic, ever.

@Ricky Davis. Talk about contradictions. "By the time his career ends he will have surpassed MJ and will be The Best Player in the History." immediately followed by "The HEAT are Wade's team."
Say what?
If James were THAT good (and if he was, he wouldn't have done a Linda Lovelace in the Finals), then Miami'd unquestionably be HIS team.

Jordan never choked. Neither did Bird. Magic too.

And to whoever said the Big O was possibly the best player of all time, and complained about him not being in some people's Best 5 ever list. Get outta here! Guy's barely top ten ever, he's not close to top 5.
