well, I also agree that the salary increase should not harm your team to much.

On the other hand, and the reason for my post:

The first salary increase I had, I wondered why ALL my players increased fairly heavily in salary, while many (most) of them didn't get trained.

Now, with the second increase my team has gone trough, I think I understand.
The players with low Form didn't raise in salary, even though they improved at free throws.

So I think that salary also depends on the form of the player (and maybe even pretty heavy), which is why ALL my players increased after the first time, since I gave them all good minutes...

If this is the case, I must disaprove the system, since it would be too easy to not have your best play before the salary increase and have their forms be low for 1 or 2 weeks to avoid a higher salary, and also it would not be right to have a rather bad player raise in salary while he is only in a very good form at the time, and not just because he improved...

I think salary should only look at the skills of the player, and maybe age, but surely not on anything as variable as from.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

At the beginning of the season, salary is updated and form is reset to respectable on all players.

If form truly has something to do with salary, I'd like to hear it from a BB, and I'd really, really like to know why.

I think it was reasonable to let people know what effect their training would have on player salaries, so they can begin to prepare for the following season.

But I don't see why players should be permitted to renegotiate at mid-season. Perhaps players could be shown with their new salary, but their current team would continue to pay the old salary. If they went to a new club, the new club could instantly pay the new salary. You have an built-in loyalty incentive.

I like that idea.
