It depends solely on my players. If they underperform in FT compared to what I expect from their skill level, I train FT. If they foul a lot or performs much worse in late quarters (they all have decent handling) than at the begining of the match, I train Stamina. Or I go with my gut feeling... ...which may be stamina more often than not... ;)

I can easily train 2 players who play a whole game, and five who play 35 minutes. I prefer to train 3 weeks of stamina in a year, and train free throw or other skills instead.

So what do you train during the All-Star Break? (Fts or Stamina)....How many times during the offseason do you get to train players?

Also, do you get a scrimage during All-Star break or do you just play that one league game that whole week?

you should rarrange it, when you don't play two cup games, the game shape is very important.

I'm sorry I dont understand your suggestion. Are you saying I should arrange a scrimage during all-star break to keep my game shape up?

If you play tiebreaker for promotion your season ends at Sunday and starts at Thursday with a scrimmage. First playoff match is on a Tuesday (ends at Saturday so no empty day between start of Playoff and end of league) and ends at Sunday 12 days later.

If you go far in cup so that you play cup match at Tuesday in all-star week and you play tiebreaker for promotion you actually have no week with less than three matches during a season. If you lose early in cup and finish 5th in league you will have three weeks with just two matches during a season.

i often train normal skills most time the one i just can train two positions, so i cann't answer your question which is free throw or stamina - this are the skill i train when i mess my minutes(how i decide it i write above in this thread).

And yes the scrimmage is important for game shape, because your players need some playing minutes each week(best betwenn 55-60)
