I have experiment with push the ball and it was great against the teams that i could win easily, but didnt help at all on the crucial games.
Fast pace = higher scoring game in general. That doesn't necessarily mean it is a better option for you... Against tough defenses slower pace seems to work better this season.
I didn't say big men are useless now. However, their usefulness has certainly diminished from a season ago in my eyes. Also, if you play a straight up offense, you should still get a fair number of inside looks, without compromising your outside shooting too much. That's why I'm saying it may be the best way to somehow get an inside offense going.
For people who don't believe me, take a look at my season so far. I have the lowest salaries in my division (with the exception of 2 bot teams and 1 team that can't win) - the reason is I have no threat inside. And it is a division with some serious heavy weights. Last season I would probably be toast but this season I am doing ok.
