You sure know that - like in any other auction - 99% of the bids are made within the last few minutes of the auction, so it is better to set a low initial price to stimulate the interest in your items or in this case players.

Yes, and this is a classic risk vs. reward type of scenario.

Maybe it is - but I seriously doubt anybody in this game would consider the risk of servers breaking down including other players not being able to bid on his auctions (that implies that in the past the stability of the server was outstanding - to include some positive feedback once in a while).

If the auctions couldnt be terminated on the usual terms they should have been cancelled or delayed.

Now please close this thread as we wont find another solution on this topic anyway as the officals already said they wont do anyting about it.
