Knowing the sublevels removes all suspense. Not just for knowing when a player is capped.
We already have relatively accurate salary calculators. Should we remove DMI because that can be used to work out sublevels as well? Having the salary for next season shown would be handy and allow people to prepare economically.

Stay with me on this one.

Removing suspense? Isn't adding next seasons salaries also doing this?

It's more about removing knowledge than suspense. Both suggestions give users more knowledge and both give similar information (whether you care to admit it or not). So either you want more knowledge and back both suggestions or you want to keep the current level of 'suspense' and are against change.

Are you saying that you would be able to predict sublevels of a player if I gave you the salary? Is that what you mean by both giving similar information?

I think so as well. With DMI in combination would any mathematic nerd figure out something like that easily. But I think this can be avioded by that - player would announce to you the increase only once per season before playoff... so you have time to prepare for that, but will not figure out from that anything else.

and why this didn't happen till now :) There are so many different "unknown" variables in it that it will ever be a guess.

But i am against showing the subskills and don't think that the salary staff work with the dynamik salary system.

unfortunately without a major facelift this game will not be able to retain new players and thus expanding ... its nearly impossible and scientifically impossible as well to get everybody .. BB's should make decisions and fast.

and you should give me the scientific studys you make :) A change just for the will of change is never good.

And maing skillups boring is for me not animprovement of the game, because i easily could predict the training, and i dont have to test anything more with the training.

I'm not entirely sure what you are saying here regarding "scientific impossibilities" and such. Anyway, the BB's are constantly improving the game. Considering the size of the BB team and the fact that they need to bring new people in, we should not expect any disruptive changes but a process of mostly incremental improvement for the time being. I think the recent changes (such as the new scouting/draft system) affect both the core game experience and the community in very positive ways. I don't know if there are any "facelift" plans (which I guess mostly means how the site looks and feels, right?), but some future improvements including updates to the game engine have been communicated earlier. Please take a look at the past news postings if you haven't seen them yet.

It is scientifically proven that u cant get everybody on this forum to agree all at the same time on one thing .. Probability in high school my friend!
Second thing, ur a GM and have been playing this game for too long you know the ins and outs whereas new joiners dont!

and maybe you should consider that i play the game so long because it was fun and like the oppurtunity for new joiners to have the same fun?

Understand everything is for me more a reason to quit, then just understand just the rough basics - because i like to learn and i like the excitement of a surprise.

the title is none-changing-game-engine changes.
The only one which might change how the GE works is the training method and as I have mentioned at the beginning of the thread I dont feel strongly about it but just a thought.
Yes this game needs face lift and not all of us will agree on what and how (and that is scientific impossibilities to get 1000+ people to agree on one thing).

What's fun for you might not be fun for someone else, and what might be fun for me might not be fun for X Y and Z.
you can't get everybody to like something just because you like it. Or else, the BB's wouldnt have introduced the Suggestion forum.
For me I like the game and you wont see me quitting anytime soon. But I realized and noticed and know a lot of people who have signed up and never signed up again. Well I dont have the numbers of course, but just from observation. Just go to the lower leagues and check how many drop outs rather than joiners.. and check also those joiners, how many of them actually did not sign in again.
