I actually like the soft cap where it is..or it could be moved to the 25K mark but having the softcap at 22K is cool. It sets the operating cost for everyone at about the same level.

What? This is the Biggest arena thread and we were talking about the soft cap on the arena right....
Back in the day all the major team had 30K and up arenas and now that the cap is at 22,000K( the same as the Pistons arena as it is the biggest in the NBA) I think it leveled the playing field...The Tall Blacks had an arena of 48,000 back in the day...Crazy earnings each game..The year Sharman won the BB he had 33,000 seats. Back in the day Big arenas meant success..Now you have to manage your money and almost everyone is at about $850,000 a week. Now the biggest difference is merchandising...In all..The soft cap on the arena was a great Idea...now lets move it up to 25K....please

there is a soft cap around 20k(i expect ~19,5), where the normal visitor formula changes.

So extra selled cheap for lower prices, don't necessary bring you enough fans that you earn more then with higher prices - which doesn't make it so lucrative to build massive seats.
