True. Relegation is alot less scary if my players don´t demand their full wages in the lower league.
So what you are saying that in that case that suggestion will be implemented you will prefer to play in a lower league.
Interesting...

I guess this is why any BB manager, in any league, just wish to be relegated, for paying less to players (which had be proven to be what's happening).

This is why you are fighting against it as an higher division team.
Make sense...

[s]Another high-division team who is against it. How can it be?[/s]
A player who is playing in a lower league is paid less.
That's is life on any league.

How will you compare players?
Maybe DMI?
Skills?
Performance?

I have never seen a team in a lower league holding Lebron, Howard and Bryant and paying like they will pay them in an higher league.
Period.

You have a strange way to look at thing that is for sure.

Me and all of the (real) BB-players around the world.

Kirilenko? Is he insane? Why does he get so less in CSKA compared to what he got in the Utah Jazz?

Then you have never heard of Ricky Rubio. An even better example is Ardviyas Sabonis. Probably Sauraunas Marshalonis as well. Even (Sorry for the spelling here.)

What about Josh Childress who left Atlanta so he could make MORE in Europe?

GM-WallyOop

So, you suggest that teams in tiny leagues (say, Venomous Scorpions) should get their players cheaper than teams in big leagues (say, all NBBA or ACBB teams). Why? Or is the idea something else?

This could be even better. Teams like the Venomous Scorpions could get themselves relegated by tanking and saving for a season then would be playing in Division II Iran (probably equal to division IV in Spain) so would get all their players at half price and could field a $2,000,000 roster in the B3! Pure brilliance!

PS: Everyone on the planet besides Pini knows this one is a stinker right up there with player deaths so can we just close this one?

Guess you need some education in understanding language.

Interesting...

Severe lack of undestanding language.

All I say is that if you have a season with relegation on the horizon, opting for TANKING is alot more interesting after implementing your suggestion, because you keep a more competetive team even in the lower league.

So you obviously try to encourage people to tank the season. Interesting...

When a player is playing at a better league, he gets more money.
-- --
The salary should be affected by the division (and maybe league) a player is being signed to.

So, you suggest that teams in tiny leagues (say, Venomous Scorpions) should get their players cheaper than teams in big leagues (say, all NBBA or ACBB teams). Why? Or is the idea something else?

Just adding some new variable for the sake of "added realism" or whatever does not seem useful if there is no clear game-play justification. Added realism can be reason enough if there is no game play change, however this suggestion clearly introduces a significant change.

There are two issues, and you "agree" to the first (as you never argued against it). This is a starter.
1) "Higher division => higher salaries."

2) "Salaries should be affected by the league they are playing at."
I don't see here anything that defines size. Do you?
I will update this sub-suggestion and create a separate one that focuses on this area.

Pini... You do realize that, in real life, players in lower leagues are paid less because they have less talent? I hope you do...

Kirilenko is now playing in CSKA, does he earn the same as in Utah Jazz? No
We can go on with other players, but it is enough.

It is not. Go on with more players.

in Soccer, Eto´o earns more in Russia than in Italy, though Italy clearly is the higher league. Plenty players in Dubai, Qatar and in China earn more than in their clubs before, though those were clearly in the higher leagues.

Thesis: to convince a high-skilled player to play in a lower league, you either need MORE money or incentives. Incentives we don´t have in BB (other than home club maybe, see AKA 47). So they most likely ask for MORE money playing for lesser teams. Sports reality.

Seriously, your stories becoming foolish and sounds hallucinatory from one message to the other.

This thread is about Higher division => Higher salaries.
Should I remind you all that?

Summarizing;
Kirilenko gets much less in CSKA comparing ot his contract in Utah Jazz, why is that?
Worse division / BB-nation, worse salary.

Drafted players earn much more than the nothing they get at the colllege. Why is that?
Because on higher divisions you get much more than lower ones.
