Miami is by no means a small market team.

For every time you mention NY, I mention Los Angeles. How many titles have won Memphis, OKC, Charlotte, Toronto and Minnesota COMBINED while the LA Lakers won their last let´s say ... 5 Trophies?

Salary Cap as designed and used in the NBA doens´t work in terms of competivity.

In NFL, salary cap works to some degree, in NBA, salary cap (and luxury tax) is nothing but a mess. Your oh so praised competivity of NBA is no different from what´s going on in the BBB.

You´re points have been proven VOID.

Again, the spot for a new comisioner for the NBA is open for you.

How many different teams have won the German BB or FB titles in the last 30 years?
Much less than those who had won at the NBA.

Toronto is a new team (10 years maybe).
So is Memphis.
OKC is a new market that an old team had moved into, and as you've wrote their previous team had gone to final, and had been a real contentare for several seasons.

And so on.

But what do I know, you are the new NBA comisioner and the new WIKI General-Manager...

I guess I would lose both jobs when competing to you, so I opt for not running ...

You´re starting to compare apples with oranges again - German league is an OPEN league. NBA is a closed league. Salary Cap and Draft are CLOSED league tools. You fail to understand that for some unknown reason.

This is BUZZERBEATER.com and it has an OPEN LEAGUE structure. In open league, certain tools don´t (and can´t) work the way they do in closed leagues. That´s why the draft concept doesn´t really work. In a closed league, you HAVE to develop your talent or draft picks, because you have a closed and limited market of players. This increases the value and the importance of the few players you add each season via draft ENOURMOUSLY. In an open league with almost unlimited access to any kind of talent as in Buzzerbeater, you have compelely different mechanism.

Trying to apply closed market tools to those mechanisms creates nothing but a BIG mess.

BuzzerBeatersBest is a great concept, and of course it depends both on financial strength as on management and coaching decisions. Actually BBB and the run for competition here makes the national leagues alot more competitive, as the money the teams who want to compete have to INVEST to stay in the running is higher than their financial benefit. BBB is sucking money from the Big Teams -> more competition in the leagues.

By introducting a salary cap you might stop that and make it an all-teams-look-the-same boredom event.

Did SA (a small market) got few trophies in the last couple of seasons? Yes.

Did Miami (a small market) are contenters? Yes they are.

Miami is a big market, and have very small taxes, which makes them to a very attractive franchise. San antonio is also not such a small market like you want.

Salary cup is designed and used in most of the USA leagues for the sole purpose of competitiveness, and made those leagues what there are.

it is a way to generate profit, but in BB it wouldn't work.

On the one hand is it good that the div 1 teams stopped making profit, like you mention in every second suggestion. On the other hand we have demotion/promotion, which will lead to trouble through different caps. On the first feet, there are two ways of spending money in buzzerbeater one is buying for a lot of money multiskilled player with cheap salarys or on the other feet buy players with high primary and a big paycheck the option often promoted teams choose to stay in league to get the time to build the right enviroment.

Salary cap work in a close league, not open.
Have a proof of a not close-league that it was tryied and failed?
No you don't.
You are just throwing more VOID arguments to keep your case on.

From your POV, what will happen to BB when a salary-cap will be set? [And please stop with the "all will leave the game" argument, as it only state your fear at this game and nothing else]

The answer - a salary cap means that each division will have the same average salary up to a small alowed difference, or/and those who will go over the Luxury tax will pay the others, and by that will make all teams at the division more competitive (money-wise).
When the competiticion is not already known at the start of the season, upon money comparison, those divisions will be more competitive and BB-managing oriented (god sake, I said BB-managing, and this is supposed to be an eBay game for some of the users POV...).

You don't have even an explanation for why it will not work.
You are just using words so it will sound "smart", but they don't have any hold.

Walking on the sun can easily be proved to be fatal - we know the temperature there, and on what temperature a human can be at.
Salary cap will do great on any league - opened or closed.
