You said it, its a game, it not the real world, 100% realism is impossible, so lets get the closest to that, including injuries. Besides I think the poll is pretty clear that your suggestion is not backed up by much.

The lack of Trophys in your trophy cabinet, show you have been plagued with injuries every playoff...

How is that relevant?

I might be looking at a lvl6-7 doc for the next season:)

I've had a l6 - 7 doc for quite some time. At least i've not had an injury longer than a week.

Oh, btw this poll sucks, injuries obviously need to stay in the game!

The poll did exactly what it was supposed to do, reveal the opinion of the community. I'm happy to accept that a majority supports the feature so it should stay even if i'm in the minority.

so lets get the closest to that

fair enough, time to make all of these more real or remove for lack of realism:

tactics
training
effort
attendance
salaries

At least we have injuries.

you are right it is not all about realism, but i don't see the need to remove injurys. If you remoe such features,, which people considered in there strategy it cause more trouble then pleasure.

And talking for me, i am happy when i win against a team with a injured player and i think if you loose all your hope when loosing one player to win a game you risked this outcome in the planning stage. And "unlucky" outcomes can also happen in games, without injurys should they removed too? Would this make the game more intresting, i don't think so.

Tactics - It's a game, how many varieties do you want the developers to make? In real a coach can anticipate the moment, this is a browser game..
Training - How is this unrealistic on your behalf? As far as a browser game goes, this is as realistic as it can get. In real people don't go like, hmm lets train, I might pop 1 skill point on it..
Effort - ????
Attendance - Pretty normal to me, when you lose fans won't show, when you win they do, almost like real people.
Salaries - Ok you wanna pay 10 million a year for 1 player, go ahead.

That's all off topic and to avoid dragging this thread out ill just go ahead and disagree with you on everyone of those.

It is a bit nuts.

Yep. If we're looking for randomness, it doesn't have to be through injuries. IIRC, the BB's tuned down the level of randomness in the GE at one point. That could be reversed and would provide a more even distribution of randomness than injuries.

I support this suggestion, I mean a realistic game is nice, but I just lost three seasons of planning to field the right team at the right time because two of my guards went down in the last week resulting in a one point loss in the first round of the playoffs against an outside oriented team. I don't wanna just complain because I was denied promotion, but when a team receives multiple injuries towards the end of the season it can destroy months of time put into this game which does result in a 'net loss of enjoyment'.
