no they do not mate.

i am trying to buy a decent guard

but my best guard has the below which isnt that good

Handling: proficient
Driving: prolific
Passing: inept
Inside Shot: mediocre

The HA/DR are fine. So is the IS. All you need is at least inept IS for your guards, and your good. As for that PA, that doesn't go over well. It will certainly hurt your offensive flow.

My opponent i am playing tomorrow night - the below is his scrimmage that was last night

i only recently got promoted this season, so i looked at all his past games last season which was Motion / Ful Court Press

so based on his scrimmage game above, i would assume its best i play Motion / 3-2 Zone?

Motion is not a good tactic with today's skills that players possess and FCP is an awful defensive tactic. Just play Look inside + 3-2, make sure your outside defenders have all good OD and that your PG and SG have good HA.
