Did anyone ever try and see if a level 7 trainer, has increased 2-3 position training effects?
I think the guy who was going to do that is busy putting racing tires and a supercharged engine into his Kia Sol.
It'd be a horrible mistake. The only possible justification for a level 7 trainer's expense is training special, exceptional players. Two position training goes completely against that - you'd be training five players at a slower speed than with three players and a level 4 in a one-position scheme. But at least you're paying a whole lot more for the right to make two more ordinary players.
ah, but how much research is done on that?
I mean, its been shown time and again that the cost-benefit of a lvl 7 trainer for 1 position is, for lack of a better word, retarded.
But has anything been done about tracking 2-pos or 3-pos training with a lvl 7 trainer? It *may* not be so far fetched, just something that the average person doesn't try and do to find out one way or another because of the cost it would take.
Let's say (for giggles) that 2 position training was 80% the speed of 1 position (which is likely overshooting it a bit based on my two position training time). Given that a level 7 guy is 12% faster, the upshot is that you can train 5 guys at 96% of the speed that you'd train one position with a level 4. So, sure, in the time a guy with a level 4 trainer can train three guys to whatever level they're aiming for, you can train five guys to that level. If those two guys are profitable enough to counteract the staggering difference in prices, yes, it'd be effective.
There just doesn't seem to be any reason to pay such a massive premium for a trainer to churn out guys who are a little worse than the level 4 one position guys in greater quantity. If that did make sense, training would be ridiculously profitable.
