On another note my guy Vasily has been injured for 1 week for what seems like much longer than a week, it pisses me off...

That's what happens when you let the guys who build the arena be doctors as well - you've just got to assume the 50% built-in delay. ;)

Man i feel so foolish but i'll take the loss. Thanks guys for helping me not go broke!

Don't feel foolish, tons of newcomers bankrupt themselves making the same move. You figured out quickly that this was a mistake and in plenty to time to minimize the damage. That's very smart on your part.

Out of curiosity, if he fires that high-level player, does the guy retire instantly? Or does he end up on transfer market as a FA?

It occurred to me that if they just retire, someone could fire a NT player and really mess up that competition.

NT players can't be fired. If he fires the player and he's not an NT player, he goes on the TL under the normal FA rules (i.e., starting at 10x his salary or a max of 1 million) or if he didn't have enough of a salary to be saved, he'd be retired.

OK, that makes sense. A scrub would just be retired, but a guy like that will go back out on the market like you'd expect. Sometimes sim games aren't logical, but this is. Thanks.

Don't feel foolish the bidding excitement of market get the best of everyone. Just be glad you picked up a good player, which kinda hard to do from the bottom league.

One time I sold a ok draft pick for 5k and new owner turned around and sold him after a few training session for 250K I think.. haha .. That one thing ill always remember..
