You can train NT players with lvl4 easily unless you are in a very big country with great NT players, like USA, Poland, China or Czech republic (the latter not being a big country, but lvl4 isn't cutting there also). Since you are in England, I don't see any problem why your trainees shouldn't reach NT with lvl4 trainer. It would just take one season more.

your last part gave me the chills.. a nt player salary for merchandise is really nothing. All that money goes right to paying the trainer. I really agree with you.. It pretty expensive, really depressing

Something needs to give and its not my team wallet. Kind of hard firing the guy after they hit 25K, sad but true.

thats outrageous, why spend that much money to get a nominal increase in training from a L5? you could save 50k per week and notice little difference in training. That's a TON of money over time. I wouldnt take 65k trainer if you paid me 100k to do so.

you have two young trainees, say you continue to take on this expense over the life of their primary training, say through age 25. Thats 8 seasons, 700k per (plus the additional growth in salary) and your looking at a cost of over 6m! That's two stud finished well rounded forwards in their prime. in the end, you're trainees maybe end up capping maybe a half a season early. unless your building an extremely cross trained ATG potential player you'll never need that extra training time.

This is easily one of the most informitve posts in a long time. You can cap MVP potential w/ a level 4 trainer no problem. Anything else is wasting cash.

It might be because I'm only in my first season and wish every day I had more money, a bigger stadium, etc., but the amounts you describe seem hell of a lot! They would be enough for to buy a new team!!!!

Very informative, thanks

What level trainer did you use the majority of the time for Nemesio?

l5 for the first couple seasons, l4 every season since then until the last season switched to l3

he popped in passing (1 position) in 5 weeks as a 28yo with a l3 trainer. about what id have expected with a high level one.

There are a lot of informative posts out there, but people don't bother to read old threads

I've found that just being patient when deciding to bid, be it on staff or players. I don't think I've overpaid on a player or staff member yet. I know I haven't been playing super long but it just seems that if you are smart and patient with your money you can get to where you want to be in the game a a good clip. I have never let my team bank get below 300k once. I also noticed when I was shopping for my trainer that people would pay 100k more for a trainer that had like 11k salary as opposed to a 13k salary. I think that is the player's fault for not thinking about the math properly.

If you train him only in primary skills yeah, you can easily cap a MVP potential player at age 25.

Also 23 easily...when U21 games end, I see a lot of centers on TL that have 3x16 in inside skills or even more, so if he's MVP, he can be capped before his 23 years if trained in primary skills only.
