Not anymore. That was under the old rookie salary formula. They changed it 2-3 seasons ago to bring it in line with the other salary formula changes that had been made. I don't know what it is now, but $3400 or so is A+.

That's horrible. I was thinking about it, and I may continue with the homegrown(all drafted) team next season. Since I haven't found anyone with high potential, I thought to at least get two A players and one B+ I scouted. I was hoping they could actually upgrade my roster LOL Thought they have 4k+ salary

I meant, I already have players about 3k salary, so the A guys won't be much of an improvement. Especially if they come with bad secondary skills. I may simply put them all down, and bring unscouted 18y olds on top of the draft order, maybe I nab an MVP...

You really shouldn't be interviewing 3 ball players. Stick to 5-ball, and when you're out of those, go for 4. The group demonstration helps out a lot but its too late for that

This season, one of 5-ball players is just 2-ball potential; another 4-ball player ends up 4-ball potential, who would you prefer?

Stats of that 5-ball player:
38 mins ; FG 18-22 ; 3PT 3-6 ; FT 3-3 ; Reb 5 ; Ast 7 ; TO 1 ; Stl 2 ; Blk 1 ; PF 5 ; 42 points ... 2-ball potential ...

Stats of that 4-ball player:
39 mins ; FG 2-10 ; 3PT 0-2 ; FT 0-2 ; Reb 0 ; Ast 7 ; TO 2 ; Stl 1 ; Blk 1 ; PF 3 ; 4 points ... 4-ball potential ...

Both are 19 years old 6'2" PG.

Stats aren't trust worthy either. You'll tend to, for the most part (exceptions do exist), have better 5-ball players than any others.
