the problem is that we need to have setup a whole new set of infrastructure to have the injury field of a player's record have some sort of timestamp.
I guess it would be possible to insert a timestamp on the injury that is equal to the end time of the game, and then make the asp only display the injury after this point. It would have the added benefit of letting us check directly when someone was injured when people complain about injuries taking too long.

Look on the positive side... if you know one of your guys gets injured you have the time during the game to search the TL for a replacement... just imagine the ideal replacement at an affordable price that expires before your game does but because you didnt learn the extent of the injury you missed him!

that would also be possible, but given the demands on the server during game days that's not such a great solution.. it would be best to only have to write to that table once and not twice each game. I think the solution i outlined will work just fine... i'll add this to the list.. but I'll admit given the relatively small size of the problem and the relatively large amount of work necessary to fix it its gonna go lower down on the list.
