Brooklyn that's why u take it easy to save up energy and momentum for playoffs right? I think everything matters. What's the fun if u just wait for playoffs

I wouldn't say I take it easy, but I won't be kicking myself for losing to top teams, like when you blew me out a couple weeks ago, or trying to put the absolute best lineups out there as long as I'm in the top 4. I'd rather focus on player development during the regular season and building up enthusiasm for the playoffs.

how does enthusiasm matter? The game manual doesn't say much of effect on games.

I've found that it does affect games significantly and I've seen it stated in the forums by experienced managers a lot, but maybe its just me.

(For example I think that's why I beat you last game even though without my two best players your team had much better ratings across the board than mine. I had ~11 enthusiasm going into the game)

hmm ... good to know, I didn't pay much attention to that before. What's the best way to boost it? "Take it easy" as many as you can? This game keeps getting more and more complicated.

I usually go TIE for pretty much the whole season (except for maybe one or two big games), though there may be better ways of going about it.

I think it only goes up when you win over a team that has ranking higher than you, and you might lose ranking if you lose to a team whose ranking is lower.

Depends on who you beat, and the teams ranked close to you and who they beat or lose to. Been there done that!!!!

It was a close game. Though I would probably lose if we played at the same effort.
