Train him if you like him ... He will have 9+ passing (eventually) ...

It's just a game ... enjoy :)

wow.. so maybe the level of the trainer really matters as they become older.

i am not sure. the questian is how many pops he got in this season
as i understand in 26-27 you can get 5-7 pops espcialy in 26 yo + elastic effect
it`s still two whole seasons that started when he was 26 yo

I used a program..

but I never reached those ages.

just want to say that, that is not realistic at all :(

a lot of players made their biggest strides when they reach those ages IRL.

And they should be able to improve up until 30 or 31.....would be really slow and gradual...it would be a different game.
It wouild be a good change to this game.

I'm saying that to look more like RL in terms of training vs. age and skill strength~

Players would start with skills already fairly high, TSPs 80 (eddy Curry? LOL) ~ 110 at around 20.
Some would already be capped.

Then through training they would develop, a little faster when younger, but actually not that much.

... So still the same high-end/endgame but a much higher start and very slow/little improvement that the owner can make in a short amount of time. ...

Not sure that would be a better game, I just know it woudl be very different.

A lot of them might be interested in getting rid of position requirements ...
Okay, that part I bolded seems to be the kernel of your suggestion, and I would agree that would help if it were applied very sparingly, that is to say, to very few draftees. Very few. Very, very few, so it was a special occurrence, not an everyday thing. That would be in line with reality and probably good for BB, certainly not harmful. It would put a lot of interest into the draft without imbalancing it.

More important, though, would be allowing improvement in skills of upper-20's and lower 30's players a little better than it is now, and nerfing them a little less than they do now. That would also be in line with reality and probably good for BB, not harmful. I say "more important" only because it would apply to more players all across the board.

And of course getting rid of the position requirements and minutes requirements would be huge steps toward making the training logical. However, a lot of the old-timers in this game look past the completel illogical quality of training and are protective of the system they have learned to navigate, ignoring how illogical it is. They defend it in their own self-interest. I think that is completely short-dighted, since making training logical could help so hugely with customer retention, improve the game and therefore benefit their self-interest even more in the long run.
