I could ping the buzz-server fine from here, and the responsetime show how fast the traffic is running, very informative when people think its a slow response time, when the problems acctually is inside the serverpark

From Sweden to:
Buzzer.com - 46ms
Google.com - 204ms
Yahoo.com - 103ms
nytimes.com - 104ms
aftonbladet.se - 18ms

Looking at the numbers I say that the problem is located somewhere at buzzer

Hi,

...and today's lesson is that BB-Charles forgot that he set up the network to deny pings since it's otherwise a potential security issue. :)

No hard feelings, but ... I couldn't care less. I just tried to help exactly the way BB-Charles suggested to do.

Someone tries to be helpful and you show an astonishing level of rudeness?

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

(53134.9) which is after a couple of posts where BB-Charles asks Pallu to check.

Come off it... the tone of Kozlodoevs response was offish to say the least... the conversation was running smoothly til he stepped in and posted his customary contrary opinion.

The reaction he got was justified... regardless of who is right/wrong on the technical side of the debate.

Rudeness towards the one to help might(!) not only apply to my post.

But I did indeed overreact!

BB-Charles asks for help, I help, Kozlodoev says it's no good. Superfly Guy's analysis of the situation is amazingly true - from my very subjective reaction in that very minute. But I did indeed ask myself (later) whether Kozlodoevs post was really ment to tell me I was stupid and wasting everybodies time. And it probably wasn't ment that way, was it?

@ Kozlodoev: apologies for my harsh reaction
@ Superfly Guy: thanks
@ JuicePats: cheers

But the important question - has the speed improved? :)
Yes, I think it has, but tonight there are only 625 online. So maybe not the right time to report any good or bad news from over here?
