If it wasnt for his jump shot he'd definatly be a good shout but that may hinder him quite substanitally.

true true.. but JS is the easiest skill to train of all tbh, so that could still be solved. but yeah.. will take half a season to get anywhere proper.

Nice - you should easily get him beyond my guy but im telling you the OD training is painfully slow.. do you think his passing level is perhaps also compounding the speed? Would a couple of levels more passing help the other skills increase a bit faster?

Outside Def.: proficient Handling: prominent

You have a beautiful player out there!

do you think his passing level is perhaps also compounding the speed? Would a couple of levels more passing help the other skills increase a bit faster?

What would be the base for this reasoning?

OD is a real pain. The big problem is the training selection for Pressure.

I´d love to have a "wing" option for pressure training.

Unless you can have this kind of players positioned always as a SG, it´s pretty hard to raise OD.

I've got a similar guy. :)

Potential: allstar *
Game Shape: respectable

Jump Shot: proficient Jump Range: inept
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: proficient
Driving: prominent Passing: average
Inside Shot: prolific Inside Def.: prolific
Rebounding: sensational Shot Blocking: strong
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: average

Experience: mediocre

I would've liked to train up his outside D, but I can't stick him at guard. His 7'3" height is also an impediment.

@dhoff.. you know who my guy is!! He is actually 6ft 10 so Kainan-Maki you may have more joy with your 6ft 8man than I did.

We have had a thread in our Fed recently where Juice has convinced us that having more rounded players dramatically increases the speed of overall training.

We discussed how fast RB/ID/IS pops if SB is very low and although a lot of managers prefer not to train SB as it seems to have a more minor effect on the Game Engine and it is also pretty wage intensive it would suggest that by having a low SB in relation to the other big man skills that they will train slower.

I guess its a trade off as the more you train SB the closer you get to the soft cap of skills so you might not get the extra skill ups in the areas you do want to build in.

Anyway my point is that if both of our players were similar in height, age, potential, etc etc and the only difference was the passing stat I think my guy would train slightly faster on the other outside skills.

I am going to try and give my guy more IS/JS and poss 1 more OD & ID but ive also got a 6ft 5 guy who has had 4 almost 5 OD trainings at PG/SG and hasnt popped from Prolific to Sensational although he has popped on RB/ID and IS straight away when I did inside training....

Sometimes the training results i get further confuse me!!!

Beautiful players out here and they're getting better and better. I wonder at that age are these players?

Personally training also SF-s for some season or so now. Way off from these guys but main projects just turned 19. With 3-4 seasons hopefully there should be something to post out here also.
