But they increase, randomly, for everyone, so your league income will also raise.

Boh i don't like the random in this kind of thing.

If the numbers they are quoting are right, the magnitude of the increase is ridiculously small compared to the decline in salaries. 1 pop in Shot Blocking by random alone could well take two/three seasons... (it's not like shot blocking is *always* selected as the random skill, and even if it were, it would take 20 weeks for one pop).

if is right...
1 pop in REB for a SG that has already high salary is very "heavy", big different(for me) in a SG with 7 or 8 in REB and useless different in game engine.

And,maybe as the most important thing, slows the training of the players in the main skills, giving a big advantage in short-mid term to the teams that actually have better players, because who wants to create a player with the same primary skills will need more time to reach them

And where is the difference between now and then? So if I got 8 pops from full season OD training before, now I will get 7. It's the same for all players, so there willl still be the same gap between better and worse players who receive the same training.

I don't know, I feel like you and the other Italian are holding onto very weak arguments just for the sake of arguing and nothing else. A lot of people proved your arguments very weak, so why bother? The change is very small, get over it.

I'm trying to figure out if cross-training trains every week a random skill (as you're saying... and I had the same impression) or it is related to fixed skills, like related skills work now (for ex. SB for ID).

Few players receive training when they are 25-26-27years or older because of a lot of reasons(too high salaries for the league, potential cap, change of training of the owner,etc...),so the change for them is minimal
But all the young players that are trained will suffer from this reduction in the training of the primary skills.1 pop for season for 7-8 seasons means 7-8 primary skills less for a player that have to be trained for a lot of weeks when he'll be26-27 years to reach the level of the actual player who is not trained to reach the same skills
I would call this a BIG advantage...

So, I have taken my 200k guard and compared the difference between his salary with rb at 7 and rb at 8.

The difference is 13k. The guard dropped 15k in salary this offseason alone.

So
(i) overall, salaries are going and will continue to go down
(ii) insofar as something modestly counterbalances the effect of salary reductions, it applies equally to all managers.

It would however be 13k more than what it should be with reduced salary. It's not really a point this

Yes, but I think his point was that it was unfair on managers who have the already capped players because it will now take longer to train them for yourself if you don't have any. However that's only true in primary skills, those players lack in secondaries that they will also need to compete with the future capped players with better secondaries.
But if my SG has 17 OD and 6 IS, I think he's better than your SG with 18 JR and 5 ID. Just my opinion.

Ask to whatever succesful Nt coach if 7-8 points in primary skills make the difference among the players that are convened and the players who aren't...
And we will not lose primary skills to train only the secondary skills that can actually help him on the floor, but there will be trained both useful and useless skill,so however there's a loss for the newly trained players against the "old" and yet trained players

This stupid cross-training is utterly ridiculous. I'm really getting sick of the BBs constantly telling us how to play the game. I've been on this game since season 6 and it seemed each major update consisted nothing of the BBs shoving a new game style down our throats.

Just because BB-Charles likes balanced players, EVERYONE has to have balanced players. When the elastic effect was fully known, fine, everyone stopped the mono-skilled players and used it to an advantage to create well rounded players in guard skills, or well rounded players in big man skills...but NO! That's not good enough. Everyone has to be completely well rounded.

In season 20 our news is going to be that we can't train any skill 2 points higher than another, so everyone is just going to be proficient in everything.
