We are embracing the underdog role. We know, nobody is picking us to win this series. But we don't mind proving people wrong. Its kinda nice playing the underdog role, no pressure on us, we can just go out there and play. The pink walls, are really cute lol somebody put in alot of work to get this ready for us. Thats more than what we put into our visitors locker room. Its just a small square box with has rats. I guess we should get on that. Its way down our to do list lol....we are gunna bring the whole kitchen sink tonight, and leave it all on the court.

I like where you are going. The way the game is set up now, you can't develop the rivalries. Another plus for you better managers is that I could be bottom feeder food for you. :)

>>> Developing the rivalries will definitely make the game more fun and interesting especially with a league cap for each team. The managers will have to develop talent or purchase talent within the cap guidelines to fit the schemes they want to run during the games... I also think this would keep more managers interested in playing the game... just my opinion...

It be alot better, for one, you'd know the manager and what he likes to run, and what works, what doesn't work for him. Those kinda things are missing in this game. Which i think would definitely put this game at an all time higher level, of fun and competitiveness.
PLUS, when adding new players to your roster, you'd know in advance which type of players you need, to close the gap between you and the top dog. With new teams coming after every season, and the champion of the previous season on the way out. You have no idea, how to build your team. What holes to fill.
This game is fun, but i feel it could be alot better. Alot more coaching ability involved. But thats just meeee.

And players should retire at the age of 41-42 max
And at this age, they shouldnt be able to play as starters any longer
Plus if you play a player OR players for 48 plus minutes for conservative games his injury rate triples.
Little nicks like this, would make managers have to think more and pay attention to their full roster.
the more pressure or heat you can put on us (managers) to sink or swim, to tell the good ones from decent to poor ones..the better this game will be. It would give the better managers, always thinking about how they can stay competitive, when their roster turns over. And the managers that are having trouble or making bad decisions, they would definitely wanna improve.
Also i would add trades in the league, along with the cap. So sometimes u might need a 3 team trade, for it to work.
But that would be the last change i made, i think the other ones i mentioned are more important....again, i do like this game!!! Don't get me wrong. Lol.
And congratulations Mad Scientist on winning the championship!! *YOU ARE THE CHAMPIONS....MY FRIEND, AND YOUR KEEP ON FIGHTING TILL THE END* lol

>>> Thanks for the Kudos on winning the Title... your team played well and kept the playoff competitive... I totally agree with you on being able to add players based on competing with the top league teams with a Cap would make the managers more involved with the League... it also would enhance the training aspect of the game as well... you have some good points.. one other thing I would like to see is that any Bot teams would be assigned lower level draft picks and give the active managers better chances of getting better potential players during the draft...

Congratulations to the Cyborgs! They met everyone's expectations with a perfect season followed by a 2-0 finals. Good luck to them going forward. I'm sure their GM Mad-Scientist will do an excellent job.

It would be cool if the devs enhanced how bots work. Cap their rosters at 10, have a random "type" be assigned to them, which will be the kind of offense/defense they run, and positions they train. Make the bots train 4 players at a time (18-21yrs old) with two position training, with the remaining 6 players filling out the other starting positions and backups. Every season the bot keeps its 4 trainees, 3 draft picks, and 3 highest tsp or salary players from the previous season. After 4 seasons of training, the trainees get put on the TL and the bot starts over with new trainees. You could also give the other positions free stat boosts, so the bot maintains its competitive relevance. The potential of the bots would be based on what division it is. This way the bots can provide a challenge for new teams but also be capped at a certain point, decreasing the chances it wins the finals. I assume that because a teams' funds would be "deleted"(being that it goes to a bot). Player prices would drop as a whole, which would make it even easier for new managers to put together a competitive roster rather quickly. Which means, they are more likely to stick around and potentially become a Supporter. Because players would be so cheap, the game would turn into a transferfest as managers test out different combinations until they find what works for them. I would personally love to build different teams and figure out the optimal skillsets to have for all the strategies in the game.

Also, rivals are overrated. Shlubs vs Risers is 14-1 all time.

>>> Thanks for the Kudos... this league was a lot of fun, with the involvement of managers in it... this is the one thing that I will miss... you made some great points as to the Bots, it would create some better players at a lower transfer cost and still keep it at a Cap... good ideas...

So how'd everyone's draft go? I got a solid 19 year old but I gotta let him go unfortunately since I'm going to be one position training for a good portion of the season. I think he could turn into a versatile big, being that a bunch of his non-big skills are already taken care of. His two worst stats being rebounding and inside shot. Seems like a no-brainer to focus those two, and mix in a little Inside Def later. If anyone is interested, I put him up for auction.
