I guess I should elaborate on why.

PG: Low JS/JR. High OD/PA. Some DR. Some IS(10) and Some ID.

Low JS/JR so that they dont get in the way of what they are meant to do. Pass the ball inside or drive the ball in if necessary. The IS punch can be helpful when things such as tip-ins, or put backs or if the PG finds themselves downlow with no other options.

SG: High JS. Lower JR. High OD. Low PA. High IS(12+) and Some ID.

Lower JR so that IS can be trained more exclusively. High JS so that they can still exploit a 2-3 zone. IS so that they are a viable third scoring option.

SF: Defensive Juggernaut. High OD/ID/SB and some REB.

This guy would be the fifth scoring option, purely here to defend. Whether that be an outside shot, an inside shot or a block attempt. This guy can defend it all. REB is important since a defensive possession isnt over unless you steal the ball, provoke an offensive foul, get scored or or most often, get the Defensive Rebound.

PF: High JS(13+), High PA(9+). High IS, Lower ID and REB.

JS and PA to make up for the PGs lack of JS and the SGs lack of PA. High IS since this guy is the 2nd scoring option and on some nights the first. High JS also allows for the exploitation of a possible 2-3 zone. Lower ID since PG, SG and SF all have ID and lower REB since the SF is well equipped to do that.

C: Pure C.

Obviously secondaries are welcome, but this is the main scoring option.

Im sure you all could figure this out on your own, but I thought id elaborate.

So we have the critics, Southpaw, unreppenantgunner, bla-bla-bla. My thoughts on their attitudes and actions would be this, unless you have the guts to run for NT and have the responsibility of running a team representing our entire nation, across the globe, then you really can't sit back and judge.

I see where you're coming from and you mean well, but I disagree entirely. Every user in the constituency has the right to say if they disagree with the direction of the team. In fact, I would think they'd be encouraged to - and I'm not saying that they aren't. What I think instead is a far more reasonable proposition is that the criticism needs to be focused on the decisions and decision-making process, and not the person making the decision.

I would like to see some kind of rebuttal/acknowledgement/addressal/argument towards BBallins comments in (224157.121) and (224157.122)

How long before we will know who won? in the AM or is it pretty quick?

I think the attacks on Coco, or any high level player in this game is just ridiculous. Even if you think you can do a better overall job, attacking a guy that has won 3 consecutive NBBA Championships just screams ignorance, or at the very least self interests.

My take on the NT program (for what it's worth) is that it has nothing to do with tactics. Questioning Coco, or any player who has been in the NBBA or D2, and even many candidates in lower divisions is silly because clearly guys that have promoted and won games consistently in BB know about tactics, GS, enthusiasm etc.

99% of the time, we don't lose a game because of our tactical choices. Between ANY NT coach we have at the time, and the communities input regarding tactical choices, we are covered. The NT coach only as so much ability to operate when you factor in the limited amount of NT level caliber players, and the ones that have good enough GS to contribute.

Until we get to a point that we have enough quality owners training players that fit the tactics we want to run, we are always going to be a little short. The bigger issue is that US teams have a hard time to be able to afford this strategy....as Coco, Jfarb, and others have shown, you have had to all but sacrifice their own teams to be able to train and own NT players that can eventually give us the Gold we all desperately want. We no longer need a plan about tactics, or even stragegic choices. We need a plan for creating, training, and financially sustaining the level of players needed to excel at the tactics we need to play to not only matchup, but beat the top teams in the world.

Reading these threads reminds of what we see in the primary elections on TV right now...candidates that are supposed to on the same team, in the same party brutally trashing each other. We are Americans, we all want the NT to be highly successful....we should be able to present our ideas in a way that esteems the program, not tears it down, and divides the community.

At the end of the day, this is a game and should be fun! Go USA!!

Interestingly enough, I don't think any candidates trashed another candidate. Only the people who didn't wish to run wanted to drag others' name through the mud.

I hope all this negativity does not drag anybody away from the NT. As for the election, I wish every candidate will walk away still wanting to do their best for the USA NT. I joined the election knowing Coco (being the incumbent, not to mention 4 time NBBA winner) would most likely win. So why did I run? Because I want the NT to win gold. No matter who the US votes to be the NT manager, it does not change my stance on wanting USA to win gold. So I would encourage all candidates (and those who are voting) to still be involved in the NT by joining the offsite. (I personally have felt that most managers there are pretty welcoming.)
