I didn't get the point
- why would anyone sell player without transfer list? It's very clear that seller can get much less money that way, there can always be someone with big bunch of money waiting just a player what you are going to sell. Saving that couple % transfer fee is minimal compared to possible raise in sales price. Estimated market prices are ridiculous - those cannot be used at all. I just bought player with 200k and market price is up to 1.7M.
- skill distribution is only possible way to estimate transfer price, based on other visible values no one can report any suspicious trades.....

Also scouting of transfer list is one element in this game - your competitors cannot buy a player so that you wouldn't have a chance to check those skills - one tactical element in this game.

Am I the only one with a vision for this game?

If I may be so blunt: I would really want some sort of better visualization of the live game. For each already defined ticker sequence there should be a small clip that can be shown with two or more endings, score and no score /block etc...the "live"-engine is the major asset of the game.

the quality must not be great, but it would bring people to actually watching the game and draw more people into it. Buzzerbeater might still be the best basketball mangaer, but only because its competitors are weak as well. we can see that more and more people wandering off to other games. If there is no major step coming up, we'll be sitting pretty much alone in here.

I also think a better viewer would be the best improvement. But I dont think a couple of small clips would do it.

Maybe watching a schematic representation of the movement of your players and the ball on the court would do the trick.

I definitely agree with this.

Ever since I joined BB, I've always wondered if an implementation could be made so that we could see the movement of the ball and/or the players. The only problem I see with it is that some people may be confused in certain situations (a player running down the clock, passing deep into the post, making cuts to the basket, etc.), but this would improve the viewing experience.

My understanding is that in order to do that they would need to completely redesign the GE so that it actually had players moving around al basketball floor.

Well the current GE is made from a planetary movement prediction program. But the physicists that made it is no longer an active part of the game, only an invester. Maybe its time to change it, use the current infrastructure tu make an actual basketball GE, a more visual one that would enable to edit and actually see an schematic view of tactis.

Current GE will always be there.

I think we all agree that this means a major additional investment. To my point of view it looks like the original people involved have withdrawn a long time ago, at least concerning personal effort. They simply found some people willing to run the show for them for (to their understanding) little money.

The point is, that this way no clear vision for the game is present. There are some small and some less small adjustments being made thanks to the great work of people such as Marin, but this won't be enough to make this project successful in the future. The new generations of players won't be so easy draw into the game with a mere text viewer. I can see the average age of players in Germany rise quite a bit over the last seasons. That is not because the game draws older guys, but because the younger people quit quite soon and its the elder one who stay active. Overall Germany has a decline of roughly 30% over the last year. And comparing that to the overall numbers, Germany is rather the average than the exception.

For the funders of/ investors in the game the question should be: Shall I invest a heap of money again with the prospect of creating the best and most played Basketball sim there is? Does some revenues make up for the work? Do I have the resources do make this happen or can I hire somebody for that job?

Concerning Buzzerbeater, its basically a do-or-die decision. If they decline the job, Buzzerbeater won't turn off by tomorrow, but reality will make this project obsolete in the nearer future.

and now its your turn to prove me entirely wrong....
