The stat has had a decent impact on my quick views of opposing teams and has already come in handy. When I can see which of the 30 players (!!!) some teams in my league are actually playing in any given game without having to pore over multiple game stat pages, I think it's awfully useful.

I'm sure that in a the NBBA or a D2 situation you're going to have smaller more streamlined teams but for those of us sitting in the newbie divisions it can be quite handy. If it lost the (Buzzerbeta) tag it would take up less space though.

Haven't read the thread, but i would like the roles to include the position of the player like: Starting SG, Backup SF, Star PF, or something like that, going by the most minutes the player has played at a certain position. I think it would help with quick scouting.

That would be a worthwhile addition to this feature. Something like MPG (minutes per game) at their most played position is simple enough that it would help and wouldn't be too much of an eye sore.

First off all, i still don't like the roles and i will never like them

The fact that its minute related is nice but if my oponent looks at my roster. Well my line up isnt a big surprise, he can look this up in about five seconds

If what Kazim is suggesting happens than that would be even easier and another way off boosting the transfermarket.
Hey i got a player who is a bronze star, guess what 100k extra to ask
And why discriminate in the stars colours? and what do the IV and V divisions get?

Just ban the roles and make me happy ;-)

And again, due to the ease of use that Roles bring, I would be annoyed if they disappeared. Instead of clicking a team, clicking games, then going through and analyzing a half dozen or so trying to keep names straight, I instead go to the Roster and see right away who plays most often. Of course, I don't know what position they're normally played in, but I can tell which players I'll be facing off against and can more easily adjust strategy from there.

Roles aren't a necessary addition. It's just something for ease of use and I believe it more than does its job.

In that same vein, while I agree with your suggestion on adding the stars, it's also just ease of use. If you think someone's been an All Star, you can look at their game history. Is it more additional clicks? Yep! But it will give the same information that a star would.

So this game will be for the people who cant annalise and want things easie?
while not make a automatic team setup so the only thing you have to do is buy players?
automatic trainings schedule so you only have to hire the coach?

and why not rent a DVD and watch a game?

Come on, this game is about making a strategy, chekking rosters and minutes and then hopefully win the game
Not by the easie way....

Well, if we're discussing this way, then we might as well strip down everything. Imagine a BuzzerBeater without economy overviews, without league standings, without player skills, without staff salaries, without training overviews, without draft lists, without buddy lists, without scoreboards etc etc. All this can be analysed and all this is implemented to make the game easier, you do like some of them, don't you?
