U21 cannot call up a player on a bot team.
If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

If a player is on the NT before the team goes bot then he is transfer listed. Once the team is botified, there is nothing that can be done.

Curious what people think about the Utopia leagues. Are they fun and have they added to your BB experience?
There is lots of people that are complaining as these leagues appear to be full of tankers. Many of the leagues I have looked over are embarrassing with teams only carrying 4 or 5 players each and trying to throw every game. Does this impact the BB economy negatively or is adding money to the mix beneficial?

Absolutely no idea about them being fun or not since I am not competing in one. Things will probably get sorted out within 2 seasons because teams that are competing will move up.
And I dont like additional input of money into the game. Prices are already going up and new trainees are ridiculously expensive compared to well-trained players. Well, except my players because they are not selling anywya so wouldnt be dissapointed if Utopia team bought them :D

I'm starting to pay attention to training players. How can you tell when a player is at the limit of his development? I've read references to his salary level. What age is the oldest you should consider a player as a potential trainee? There are some players on my team who are still raw skills wise, but with higher potential, but they're already 22-23. Is it better to focus my efforts on younger players, who might not have as a high potential ratings?
Also, I noticed that there are some tools that you can use to help calculate good training programs. Is there a list anywhere of where to download them?
If I have two or three players who I want train, but one is a centre or PF and the others are guards, since they don't have the same skill sets, what is the best strategy over the course of a season? It'll be hard to find training programs that benefit all of them at once.

I personally would recommend using Buzzer Manager (http://www.buzzer-manager.com/)
It helps with multiple aspects of the game and one of the features is a thing that calculates player potential cap and how much of their potential is used up, so thats a helpful tool. (I'm pretty sure its "legal" to use and is a ok third party website to use for BB, and its free)
For trainees I personally like to start with 18-19 yr old trainees with all star+ potential if you want to train high quality players. Acquiring these players (especially with higher potential is not too easy) either with lots of money off the transfer list, or get super lucky in the draft. but always just buying a well trained young player to train is always another option.
For training I would say to just focus on a certain position- so either guards or big men, since it is difficult to train both at the same time, unless u are training secondary skills for a potential national team level player. always try to do 1 position training as it is the most effective, 2 position training if you must and try to avoid 3 position training at all cost.
I personally won't bother training players with less then star-allstar potential because they will never become too good so it may not be worth the investment. Try too aim for 1-2 good players to train with all-star+ potential because the time invested in those players will be worth it.
I also prefer to train Canadian players because it benefits the country more, and if you stumble upon a good young Canadian player, I'm sure the U21 coach will tell you that you've got a good player that worth training and they will usually give more detailed advice for training.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info. buzzer.manager is great! Will other players who get 48+ mins improve their skills when you aren't targeting them?

Players will not be trained if not targeted in the specific training, even though they may receive 48 minutes, only there game-shape and sometimes stamina will change. Glad it helped!

Some of my players' stamina has dropped recently. What might cause this? Is it something to worry about? What is stamina exactly? It says the only way to raise it is by team training.

What causes this? Playing basketball.
Player stamina drops slightly after each week. Not a lot, but over the course of a season (give or take) expect it to drop 1 level.
Stamina affects how well a player can play at their best for long periods of time. A high stamina means they can play the majority of the game vs. a player with low stamina gets subbed out sooner for a rest.
Team training stamina raises each player's stamina regardless of minutes played that week. Typically managers will do team training (stamina or free throws) on short weeks (all star week or when out of play offs) or when a main trainee gets injured and doesn't have enough minutes for skill training.
