i already read that post. but does that give you the feeling that the bbs have any ideas what to do next? maybe they should hire a fulltime programmer instead of spreading the expertise all over the world. and this small post did not really reach all the annoyed people out there. this could have been an informal news post which in my eyes would have been the better way.
i dont really wanna discuss the transfermarket. bet let me tell you something: is it a good thing that it is easy to buy excellent players for little money? imho its to easy to buy such players and you dont really need to manage your team well to be able to buy them. thats not a good sign because it makes the game less interesting.

The rely well trained players stil lsell for bog amounts of money. Its just that the mono skilled monsters are not at all attractive as there are loads and loads of them and the price therefor has plunged to the bottom for them.

when did you take you last look at the trandfermarket?

The speed didn't improve because even more users registered for the game. It's hard to keep improving game speed if thousands of users register every day. And with other problems on their hands, I don't think the BB's top prioriry is game speed.

Now this was a funny post. If you keep tract of the number of users you would have seen a 450 user drop last Monday(teams go bot on Mondays) and there will probably be more this Monday. In season 10 there were almost 60,000 users(58,670). Now there is only 52,000...Where did everyone go.

Well, you see, after Buzzerbeater was created people started to create new manager games because Buzzerbeater gave them a idea.

A lot of people stoped playing Buzzerbeater, and started to playing Charazay, Hattrick, Smashdown....other online games.
I think the problem is in the forum.
It isn't ok for me.
We don't have complete look at it.
Etc. you have
News
BB-Mail
Forum

It would have been better if you had something like this:
Forum(9)

The number in ( ) is the number of unread messages.
+ it would have been better if mails would be faster, i mean the same time the mail comes we could see it, the same goes for forums.
That would make numbers of forums messages bigger for a lot.....

But still...
The fact remains...

Buzzerbeater is awesome, i love to play it, and it will stay like that forever

:)

Peace and respect guy's

well tonight takes the cake, really it does

i decided to support this game for a year because i love it i really do , id always been treated fairly and nicely until tonight.
where apparently sweeping a major problem under the rug was more important then some common curtisy .

again closed for no reason

http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr...

i specifically ask for a reason its being closed , and its closed again without reason

And the one that has pissed me off is this

http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr...

again closed without answering me

i can tell you right now i wont be supporting a game that treats its customers like this again.

as long as the gm's are on a power trip buzerbeater wont get another cent from me.

(edit) well i got a response , id like to state though i was not reporting a bug so it didnt need to go into the bug forum , otherwise this whole thread should be there, i was trying to find out if people where able to bid 1000 and get any player like i was hearing.

actually all the info was not in the bug forum , i was told via in game chat that people where able to bid 1000 on players listed over 1000 i was trying to confirm if this was true.

thus why i was pissed that my threads kept getting closed.

and the bug thread was created hours after the bug actually started.

Without people reporting the bugs, there's no way outside of one of the GM/BBs randomly happening upon a bug to know it's there. If a thread wasn't created till hours after the bug started, there's very little the Devs can do about that. They have to know about it before it can be fixed.

I can see that there was a bug report posted at 5:42. Two hours later as stated by the GMs, transfers were halted while they figured things out. The bug was then fixed and transfers resumed. Now, there's a two hour window of *known time* that the bug existed that players went through the transfer list and some people were able to pick up players for cheap if they had bid just ahead of the bug. They made out like bandits and that rocks for them. But that cuts both ways. Some players expecting more out of their TLed players got less than they would have. That sucks.

Really, what are you expecting the BB Staff to do? They closed the threads in the wrong forums as they should have and as they always do. They may have been a bit wrong in not providing an explanation, but that's about the only portion of this that I can see that (probably) a single GM made a mistake on.

again the threads i started where not reporting a bug they where a discussion of what the bug allowed.

much like half the posts in this thread.

And your wrong with your understanding of what actually happened with this bug.

from what ive been told you could bid on any player for 1000 and it would go through.

The chronology that I see from the posts that I've seen on these forums go:

You posted about not being able to bid on players (As your threads show, except for the now deleted posts)

A bug is posted about not being able to post transfers

You make multiple threads two hours later about the bug and how the sky is falling.

Edju (or someone else) suspends transfers to figure out the bug

Transfers are restarted with some players having gone for cheap.

I see nothing in any of the posts that are available that state that players were able to go for 1K, only that players *did* because of transfers not being available (so no new bids could go in on them). There's heresay that it was possible but I see nothing from the BBs that that was the case nor from other players. With something with that much effect on the TL at a time we would have heard a LOT about people having their players go for cheap on these forums. We have not.
