Do you have a mentoring program set up in BB. I'd like to find someone who could look at my team and tell me if I have everything set up right. I'd also like to know more about the defensive and offensive tactics in the game and how they correspond to each other. Thanks.

p.s. start Vogel

There's a thread for mentoring requests in this forum somewhere. If you want 1 on 1 counseling, that's the best place to find it.

However, if you'd rather have more public (meaning a variety of opinions) feel free to post your questions here. This thread could use a little life and I'm sure I could learn a few things from the questions/answers you'd encourage.

Also, check out the Buzzerbeater thread in Non-ht USA. Select view posts by Juicepats and you'll get some good "overview of the match engine" type information.

PS. I did and I will. He's such a great player to have on the roster.

Here's the link to the mentoring thread. However, I'd still encourage you to post your questions here.

Ok, I have been playing for a few seasons now and trying to do this on my own. But I have decided to ask for some help/suggestions.

I am ready to retool my lineup/training. Have been really training a little of everyone and have some nice players.

But have been consistently mediocre of late....

shoot me a message if willing to help...

Thanks
Hobbs

Good luck and I eagerly await the discussion that surrounds your team here in this thread.

My conversation seems to have died down for now as I'm training and cruising through my series just as I thought I would so I'm happy that this thread might take on some new life.

I would love to see this thread go to a younger and less established team. Maybe mid level Div IV or below that is really in need of direction.

I concur. You want to be that team? ;-)

He can't. He's too good now, and has plenty of non-base-level players. Notice how he's HIGH Div IV? That's why he didn't mention himself.

I could use some help/suggestions with my team. Nobody seems to be all that active at moment on this thread.....

Maybe someone could assign themselves as a mentor for me.... :)

I consider my team a mid-IV team. Perhaps I should post some details about my team here?

I'd agree with your assumption. I would approve of you as a candidate for "Mentoring by Forum"

I certainly do not know everything and ask for help whenever I need it but I'll be willing to help you to any extent possible. Shoot me a mail.

I'll look over your team and put some suggestions here when I have a minute but that is difficult without knowing what you are training, etc.
