Sheesh dude... BBmail to say "I'm training guys - weak line-up", and you put your best possible unit on the floor?!!
Oh well, I don't really mind. Your prerogative... as long as K-Mat gets his minutes I don't really care.

(edit: 2 fouls for him in the first tho'. He doesn't get a full 48, and you can colour me p*ssed)

Quite likely. Bit of a cheap-shot, but if it doesn't end up costing me training minutes, I don't really care. Noted tho'.

It'll all probably go south for me in the 2nd half, but funnily enough, it's not quite working out the way he envisioned it. 5pt game at the half.

Best?

I am training 2 guys 48+ each at PF & C as I am doing REB training this week.
My highest salary player Kishita who is a C is playing backup SF.
Shin Shidehara who is in proficient GS & certainly would start in my "best lineup" this week is also a backup.
Ichirio my best backup PF isn't playing at all.
I have a 30k PG starting at SG (who went 0/5 by the way).

Best???

Methinks the lady doth protest too much!

First of all: let's point out that I said I didn't care.
Secondly... ok: other than Kishita (who still was in the game).
You're training Sonoda? Really? That's interesting.
True on Kishita, I had missed that. But you did start Kawagichi at point, Kawaida at SG (who you & I know is *different*, and significantly better than his 30k salary), Ochi at SF, Wakatsuki at the 4 and Sonoda at the anchor. So, starting 3 NT reps, a guy who used to be an NT player... and a former U21 player... against a team of nuffies and K-Mat at the point (which you knew about).
If it wasn't your *best*, it was a very close approximation.

If you're gonna talk about it, at least be honest: you saw an opportunity, and went for it. It's ok - I actually thought it was cheeky, and quite funny. But be honest.

The only "opportunity" I saw was the chance to get 6 guys 48+ this week even if 1 is Sonada on who the training wasted. For the rest the only thing I was thinking about was getting them the best possible minutes for GS purposed. I had no thought at all about PD it is not even on my radar.

What was my possible motivation? I can't drop below 2nd or catch up to 1st. There is no reason to do it.

So being honest, it was a cruddy sub-standard lineup whose aim was to maximise training & GS while not being so bad that I actually lost.

Time for you to man up & admit you were wrong.

That... is HILARIOUS! Well, at the very least, ridiculous.

"Man up"? Come on dude - there's nothing to do with "manliness" on BB... you're worried about "manliness"? Hell, go out and break some rocks or something.
Surely, that wasn't a serious post?

The only "opportunity" I saw was the chance to get 6 guys 48+ this week even if 1 is Sonada on who the training wasted.

3 NT players, an ex-NT player... and an ex-U21 guy. "Training purposes". On Sonada. Hehehe...

I told you I was running a completely crap line-up:
Not sure if you're interested - you're going to win any way, but I'm going TIE. K-Mat at the point...
Would appreciate it if you'd go easy and not foul him out!!!

You chose to ignore it, and that's entirely your prerogative. You did nothing wrong per se.

Look: I simply don't care. I'm fine with you ignoring my request. Perhaps it was just a petty attempt to rack up points on me? Maybe you just didn't think about what you were doing? I dunno. Likewise, I don't care.

I just thought it was funny. As is your response. I don't get why you're so indignant...
Done with this. If you can't have a laugh about it... then simply don't bother.
