oh there is someone mad, who lost against him ;) That the reason for it.

And he could afford the monster for 3+ season, and i am quite sure he still makes money with it ... not enough to make his roster younger without quality, but sorry that not tanking.

You should really drop ESV Laim as an example for tanking teams. There is no point in being stubborn, since there a multiple other valid examples to make your point.

in addition to all the reasons already given, when Laim won the BBB, tanking as we see it now was not even possible. Season 11 was at the height of the transfer market inflation, the best players sold for 10M+. You couldn't buy a competetive roster for some sracp money.

Some points to add:

-If you wanna fight for B3 you must lose money per week and/or buying players (when I mean fight I mean having real option to get the title).

-Every manager has his own reaons to go for a good result in B3. I´ll give mine: I´m bored, too many seasons and the feeling that this game is dying. So after this I will take holidays and don´t know if I´ll come back. I´ve won all I could in spanish-BB (only 2 other managers got it) so my ego is satisfied LOL.

-My team had really strong PG-SG-SF so I had only to get a good C to compete and that made the change easier, I don´t like changing the whole roster (in fact I was almost 3 seasons with the same basic players) to boost the team even it´s not illegal of course.

-I could be much more agressive but well, B3 for me it´s like a present, never a measurent of your quality as a manager. That´s impossible when we do not compete in the same leagues and some are stronger than other with all that it means.

Conclusion: this is another competition, for me a kind of regard. The one who will be the winner will deserve an applause but not to resume his (her?xD) career in this game.

Regards ;)

OK, you tell me that again LI the better deff tactic is m2m, not 2-3? Are you serious mate?

You didn't understand me man. I wanted to say that you kept the game close with playing 2-3 defense; with M2M it could be a blowout. But 2-3 defense is also known by being a swiss cheese when it comes to outside shooting. And whatever tactic your opponent plays, it's guaranteed that his outside players will take outside shots in last few minutes if the game is close. So even if you keep the game close with 2-3 defense, it's fruitless at the end. I guess you'd have to build a really great lead in first three quarters to mitigate the 2-3 deficiencies in fourth.

those last second 3 pointer are still a very bad option, and the likelihood that they go in iis just sligthly better(maybe 10-20% so instead 20% chanche to hit 22-24%).

OK mate, but we can't stop them. Nobody can say to a manager that he can't buy some "monsters" for the B3.
Now, that is the only way to win the B3, and some people do it every season and try to get the B3.

They have the options to buy new players, and they use it, and then its no fun to us you mean, yep.

Its fun to play again normal teams in B3, as I remember last season, one of my interesting matches in B3 again CrazyEye, that was cool, after that I played 1/8 finals and i got a China "monester" team, no chance ofc.
This season Rabadense, and you have seen what happened.

What I'm trying to say, every season they are those teams that buy "monster" players and try it on B3, so there is no other way to win it, just need to do the same
I don't see other options?

Maybe the only way to stop that is that you must play with the same team you start the B3, so you can buy players before the B3 start? But mate, that's hard to make as a rule, but its not an bad option, like that, B3 would be more interesting and we could have more fun.

This is where we hold them!

What sets "normal" teams from "tanking/monster" ones? How many players does a team have to buy in order to be called tanking or monster team?
If I have a team with three great outside players that were trained by me and then buy two 300k centers to win B3, am I considered a tanking/monster team?

I think sometimes it's a fine line between those two terms. I agree VS is a monster and tanking team, if by tanking you mean the team doesn't make profit because of their expensive roster.

But if you look at this match: (39282308) and check winner's starting 5, you can see only Raud can qualify as hired monster. One player has been with the team for more than one season and three others were teammates for at least 5 seasons (Bolek, the SF was there even from season 10). So why is he a monster/tanking team? Beacuse he bought Raud to win B3? Compare that to VS who bought 6-7 players to win B3. Where is the line?
