I figure if my attendences go sub 20,000 then i should be able to increase prices a bit..... from memory the announcement hints less people will come to the games but it doesnt hint the ones that still turn up will pay less.

but i think the balance is the old, it makes no sense to offer low prices when they are in every constelation a bad decision.

Low prices, means cencessary bigger arena(not that big then today), and a bit more income through this additional investment. I don't think they just cut down 300 visitors all the time, i think they cut down maybe 10% of the visitors which makes the variance of prices still usefull.

I personally think that a PR guy influences your season ticket holders. As such, it is a long term investment - you do not see the impact right away.

The rules also say that a high PR level takes away some of the negative aspects of your fan survey.

If you are already at the soft cap for season ticket holders for your division, then no, the PR guy is not going to do much. And if all the elements of your fan survey are at 5 stars, again, he is not going to do much.

Anyhow, that's just my interpretation.

If you are right I have wasted 10k a week for nothing as I got almost perfect grades already. But I will report back coming weeks if I can see any improvements in gates and so on.

So I fired my 38k per week level 7 PR guy and hired an 8k per week level 2 pr guy. My merchandise revenue has fallen 6k per week. I'm not very good at math but that's like a 1 million dollar savings per week!

you forgot some points in your calculation:

- we got a new merchandise System, for myself the merchandise income raises about 7k so your income is dropped more then 1k

- the PR manager has impact on visitors, and yes this was the point he earns money for you, now and in the past.

his income dropped about 10 k...less than the difference in salary between a level 7 pr guy and a level 2 pr guy

I do not understand your first point. It is now three weeks since I have done this, and my merch income is roughly 7k less per week while my salary is 30k less. I don't think that keeping my level 7 PR guy and his bloated salary would have gotten me 23k more in t-shirts and foam fingers.
The difference between the finals game I hosted and the first game of this season was not nearly what I expected it to be considering I raised bleacher prices to max for the finals. I will monitor the attendance but I believe winning is what puts butts in seats, not PR guy level. If I drop my prices to 12 bucks for the next home game I can almost assure you I will sell out the bleachers.

but you posted it today without this information, so i expect you did it this week and notice the difference today.

even there is it hard to compare, because max prices seems to be better this season.

it is hard to compare difference games thats right, and winning does the main thing there you could get difference around 150-200k, to see 20k difference it is more difficult especially because it is nearly impossible to give identical "test" teams.

If I drop my prices to 12 bucks for the next home game I can almost assure you I will sell out the bleachers.

what would you profe with that ;)

I was just continuing the conversation of this thread from July, when Superfly Guy said he didn't think a high level PR guy was worth it. I said I was gonna change and check it out. After changing, I agree with him. As per the post that you originally responded to:

pr salary drop 30k/week
revenue drop 6k per/week (in 2nd post i revised to 7k)

savings of 23-24k per week.

the 1 million per week was, ummm, a joke.

I'm not comparing my team or situation to anyone else's. Just providing information from my experience. Anyone is free to take from it what they want.
