Why do you often run down other people's comments? The jury would never come in with your verdict. Many very good managers—I hope that I'm in that group—have worked very hard to get to II. Yes, even 8 years. The number is not grossly exaggerated. I can think of a good number of mangers who are still trying after that number of years or more to get to the highest league. For the sake of other managers, simply try to be a little less of an elitist. Thanks...

The discussion was not about how long it takes to get to the top level, it was about the fan base. The base STH are different on different levels (which is another way to say that there is some sort of soft cap). There are also bonuses/penalties for promotion and relegation.

So there are 2 things are likely to happen: one will never have 4,000 fans in D2, since the soft cap is quite a bit below this level, and when one promotes, one will have to "recover" significantly less than 2,000 due to the promotion STH boost. This makes the 8 season grossly exaggerated.

Maybe take a minute to process the comment before you slam it?

Well... I know the true! :)

MAX NUMBER OF SEASON TICKET HOLDERS IS AROUND 4100. And if you wanna have 4100 sth's you must win 1st league, national cup + B3.

So if you won only league, and lose in semi-final of national cup then you will have around 4040 sth's.

In 2nd level league max number of STH is 2800.

edit: We thank you for not making all-bold posts.
@edit: I have the numbers and I know the "formula" for this topic, so it's no need to about STH anymore ;)

P.S.
@edit: thank's for your message reply ;)

no problem here.
Simply and clearly, if you need 8 season to get 4k fans you cannot lost 2k fan in one season. Why? Because is not realistic.

Is less than important compare to the global economy but if there is a change in the arena cause the "old" system wasn't realistic this one is not different.

maybe the jump is ok in my eyes, but it should be nearly that huge when you are promoting back ...

PS: Some more visitors for the low league wouldn't be bad too, this will close the gap betwenn the league which is pretty high - and the money get drained out again through the flexible salarys (hopefully) but maybe thats not the rigth place for it.

The BB team has stated that they want a noticeable difference between divisions.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

the thing that i am running 200k profit each week, last season and third division team around 30k - i don't know when we get back to an equilibrium but with the flexible salaries it takes a while and at east in our top division we know each other.

And wouldn't a smaller difference, not still noticeable?(if ned falls from 4000 to 2000 - a drop from 4000 to 3000 is for example noticeable in my eyes)

Actually that is possible! For example if one team play in 1st level league, and if he won first league and national cup. And then if he drop to 2nd league next season. In that case it's possible that sth fall for 1500-2000 ;)

Ask me, I know everything about STH ;)

In addiction if in the first division we can easily earn 200k/week and in second maybe 100k/week the noticeable difference will be bigger and bigger. In Italy there are always the same teams in serie A often teams that was relegated in second division go back after one season in A. After 4 seasons in top division I've decided to sell all the players and to try to train the young players but with the money did last season (for the sale but also thanks to the huge profit I had every week) I could win quite easily this season. Imho I prefer top division = more glory less money

+1 in germany it is the same, but we are lucky this season to get three new faces, but the chanches are high that we are sending then back immediately.
